Draw a line, move on to Saturday. This was closer to our average level of performance than say, Exeter away. As a rule we're quite uninspiring (from 0-90mins anyway).. Quote
L/H White Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Rubbish from the off, never looked like scoring Doncasters wingers miles better than ours tonight Place being empty didn't help, no atmosphere to spur it on like Wycombe last week when it was electric. Only Kenny worth his place tonight Quote
Farnywhite Posted March 17 Posted March 17 (edited) At least we will have trying to secure a play offs to play for with the run in that’s not a given after vale last 7 games draws won’t see us over the line Edited March 17 by Farnywhite Quote
JimmyRiddle Posted March 17 Posted March 17 The selection was awful, trying to shoe horn players into positions. Sheehan and Dempsey in midfield, b'jesus. At times we were 4-1-1-4, and 5-5, fucking mental. No wonder we had no cohesion. Hardie got another I see too Dempsey isnt good enough as a conventional midfielder, super sub at most. Then we have Simon's Erahon and Fernandez sat on the bench. What's Simon's done wrong?? I know his form went off a bit, but he not had a sniff since. Quote
Hoppy Posted March 17 Posted March 17 We have all the right players but not necessarily in the right order! The team has little energy and seem to have no focus at the moment time to get this out of their system before play offs Quote

To be fair to Donny they came to play tonight and could have won that so maybe a points all we deserved? Quote
kent_white Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Sorry but I've not finished slagging Josh Sheehan off yet. The spineless, gutless, passionless shite hound. Nobody gets as much space on the pitch other than our keeper. He should be picking games up like this by the scruff of the neck and making things happen. Fucking playmaker my arse. I could fucking knock it sidewise for 80 minutes every week. Terrible hangover from the Evatt days. He needs to be having a long, hard look at himself in the mirror tonight. The overrated, one decent game in 12, strangely lauded, leek eating*, poncy haired, flyweight, unenthusiastic, talent wasting, game slowing, sheep shagging*, choir singing*, Max Boyce listening*, devoid of ideas, dead duck, anonymous Welsh* prick! 😁 Was it a three year contract we gave him? Fuck me! I'd sooner have the lad we shipped out to Blackpool back. And he's injured. He'll get a hat trick at the weekend now the little Welsh wizard 😂 *I'm allowed to say these things because of my Welsh roots. But none of you racist bastards better join in! Quote
ph31 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Completely disjointed, lacked control of the midfield. Burstow looks lost on the right, Gale cant pass, shoot or cross. Christie and Conway lack the confidence to make a forward pass or beat a man. We may not catch Cardiff but we need to be building a team that knows what they're doing and playing to their strengths. Fuck off - he was on his own tonight. Gale, Christie and Toal were shocking. Burstow didn’t play badly but shouldn’t be wide right now- SS is hopeless Quote

That was right down with Northampton in the stinker rating and it was on the manager. That formation was a shambles, and it was mind boggling that he persisted with it after half time, never mind for another 20 minutes. Christie and Burstow on the right was horrific. When that lad came to the club he said he hated it last season at Hull because he was played out on the wing. If SS felt Christie had to play, put Tutu in front of him. It says a lot also about how little confidence he has in Apter. The whole 97 minutes was a shapeless, error ridden shambling crock of shite, the only honourable exception was Dempsey, head and shoulders the best of what were a really bad bunch. Quote

meanderson93 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Went tonight, pretty poor all round, shape made no sense to me and that midfield should never start a game together again. Unfortunately though, I became distracted some time through the first half when I noticed a pattern emerging from the whinging bellend sat to my left in the North Stand Lower. Not a word to be said about Toal being piss poor, or Johnston launching it to no one, or Dempsey's corners sailing over everyone yet again. Couldn't give enough abuse to Gale, Burstow, Christie. Tutu and Cissoko got pelters the moment they touched the pitch despite making us several times more threatening. Spoilt my evening to be honest. Couldn't really focus on how shite the football actually was. Quote
Tombwfc Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Can't believe people were still looking at Cardiff's results tbh. We've played two relegation threatened teams, they've lost a game and yet the gap is bigger than it was a week ago. It was over when we didn't beat Lincoln. Quote

victor meldrew Posted March 17 Posted March 17 30 points dropped by drawing so many games, too many bad team selections this season. This team isn’t good enough. Quote

Course it was, all the focus should have been on bagging enough points quickly enough to be all but sure of play offs before that nasty last 5-6 games. We're in danger of making a fuck up of it. Lostock Whites Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Abysmal is putting it lightly What more can I say, I think the fact we are 3rd in the table after dropping so many points this season is a miracle in itself. Unbeaten run who cares, dropped points again Blackpool, Doncaster and Rotherham recently. If we won this games we'd be knocking on the door for top 2. Quote

Can see us needing a result against Luton to secure playoffs . 2 bad performances recently against teams that are let’s be honest gash another performance and result like that against vale and we’re looking at were we will be getting our next win Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted March 17 Posted March 17 That selection was fckg bizarre & it performed to suit. Schumacher needs to own that. I'm bewildered by him. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I'm not usually a big Sheehan critic but can see why he divides opinion but on tonights showing I wouldnt be unhappy if we got a few bob for him in the summer and replaced him with Gotts........that lad showed how that role should be played tonight, everything he did was crisp and energetic. Quote
Stig Posted March 17 Posted March 17 11 points from the last 7 games. These bad runs of multiple draws now, the start of the season and Christmas have killed us. Quote
