captainmed Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 B aware that there are no trams in service when we are there for those on the train. Bus replacements for part of the way. Quote
marple whites Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 We got a taxi down from the station last time - did all the back roads so was quite quick. Buses back into town centre after. Quote

Carlos Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Stayed to the end, Jamie Pollock trying to gee us up when we got a corner on 89 minutes. Think we went down on GD... Quote
Zico Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I didn't get to many games that season - just that and Barnsley at home due to living in arse end of the country on student wages anyway, i wasn't leaving so stuck it out first half, couldn't get into a seat that didn't have a massive fuck off post covering both goals half time could stretch out any direction you wanted bizarre 45 minutes - at the start they were opening the corner stand they never open to let our lot in, we took fooking loads Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Stayed to the end, Jamie Pollock trying to gee us up when we got a corner on 89 minutes. Think we went down on GD... Talking of Jamie Pollock, I'm sure that's the same game they had a falling out in the dressing room after the game, he ended up on our train home, he left the dressing room & decided to go back to Middlesboro, rather than back with the team on the coach. Nice bloke, rang a few days later & left a message on the answer machine about free tickets, didn't take him up on the offer though. Quote
Nobster Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Haha... I reckon iamin. Missing tomorrow (don't ask) and Hudds (don't ask) and our peg is at dancing on ice tonight having worked 4 nights on the bounce. Top dad=FPO day pass What time train you getting, I'm at Windy Harbour so might get an early train from Poulton looks like a good day out this Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 In plus 4 or 5 - not done Wednesday will be on the train so is it taxi job to hboro from station and any bother getting in that pub on station for Wednesday home games done on the way to Barnsley b4 no bother cracking boozer Quote
Eddie Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 In plus 4 or 5 - not done Wednesday will be on the train so is it taxi job to hboro from station and any bother getting in that pub on station for Wednesday home games done on the way to Barnsley b4 no bother cracking boozer Definite taxi job from the station, looking at a 10 minute drive without match day traffic. As for problems in the boozer, I don't know for sure but I'd be very surprised if there was any bother, it's very much the United end of town round the station so I can't see many Wednesday fans using it as their pre match pub. gonzo Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 What time train you getting, I'm at Windy Harbour so might get an early train from Poulton looks like a good day out this My plans have changed slightly. To the extent of I am no longer going haha Quote
