I'll agree with that if you can give me a list of specifics about his job and what his role is as outlined by the owner. Facts, not guesswork.

If not, I'll treat it as the usual ill informed nonsense.

I'll informed wtf I've not informed anybody of anything, just stating my opinion.

Bollocks. Most people will still criticise regardless of what he says.

Moreover, I don't think supporters will go and support someone else because Garty didn't say nice things about them in the BEN.

No they won't

But giving the impression that we aren't all "on the same side" will most certainly get into the football community - which can diminish our attractiveness to a new Manager and potential players

This type of thing DOES happen. FACT etc

the ones that get me are the wonderful cliches

fractured club

disaffected fans

supporters disenfranchised

fcuking hell, theres nowt wrong that half a dozen wins doesn't put right

I think in general you are right

But who's going to make sure that happens then?

Unfortunately fans are not all (by any means) on the same side.

It is as well any incoming manager is aware of that before they arrive - or it will be a rude awakening.

Things have changed a lot since Rioch told Megson that if he ever got the chance of managing BWFC he should take it, because the fans are so supportive.

Of course they were, in the light of Rioch's achievements.

But nowadays a large part of the fan-base, maybe the majority, view anything below mid-table Premier League as failure.

I'm not having that or the fans would have "turned on" Freedman a lot sooner

There are a few that think that way; most of us are more realistic nowadays

Perhaps they won't "turn on" the new Manager if he doesn't make such inexplicable decisions on a regular basis

PG "when it comes to some people saying Eddie out, it certainly isnt going to help"

i have never heard anyone shout Eddie out that would be plain stupid

i have also not heard it

but there seem to be quite a few wanting a change of owner cos eddie wont spend anything

and its a very small leap from garty out to eddie out

we've even got loons on here critical of eddie davies for the debt we're in, so aye, i reckon theres quite a few eddie outers

and dont forget the criticism by sharehilders of him 'stealing our club' and then taking it private, ie 'whats he up to'

nobody actually has the balls to say eddie out on here, but theres a few hiding their dirty little secret

"Where has the money gone? Well we have all the assets – the stadium, training ground, hotel, car parks the lot. And not many clubs do that, by the way, some are built by the council like overseas."

Nicely dodged Phil. We had these assets before - when the debt never seemed to move off £35m. I think we spent 2 or 3 million on the new academy. I'm not seeing where the other £130m is accounted for though in that answer. The hotel was making money for us in the Premier League years, or so the commercial manager Gareth Moores told me when I spoke to him back then.

Never been overly impressed with Garside without

Going into detail but at the end of the day he is Eddie's mouthpiece & any protest against Garside is really a protest against Davies .Fortunately the protest was pathetic in the extreme which will be brushed off accordingly. However Gartside/Davies can't afford another divisive character which for me rules out Lennon & Mackay .I think Mowbray would be the best choice.
