That's not "taking it the wrong way" - it's responding to exactly what you said.

The good and bad days are down to the manager(s). Gartside picks the managers, so I guess indirectly he's responsible too.

I don't hold Bill Gates responsible for bad versions of Windows either, just for comparison.

How about this for a novel idea? Those apathetic fans, yourself included, should maybe turn up and try to support the team... you never know, the support might actually lift them a little.

Wow. Just wow. Someone get that man a fucking medal. I can't believe you'd sacrifice your Saturday to watch them, you're such a hero. Please can I have your autograph?

Maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and get a flight back to Manchester every weekend (oh, and midweek matches too). That's a 40 hour round trip, would that validate my opinions on things then, in your eyes?

Prick.

You silly, silly, little boy

You are a complete and utter fucking cock, everytime you post you come across as a blinkered ignorant aresehole.

It seems you think i am a prick which is good because you are wrong in nearly everything you post so I must be alright, tell you what ask your brother if iam a prick he has actually met me so may have a view.

I do not hate Gartside but as Chairman he has to take responsibility for what is going on, you think he has little or nothing to do for the playing side, same for the commercial side. What is he responsible for to deserve such a large salary at a time the club is struggling financially. Garp and Casino have acknowledged this, but you carry on regardless.

I do not need or intend to justify how I support the team, been through worse times than these in last 40 plus years and emerged wearing the badge, again happy for you to check this with anyone who knows me.

As for the super fan status for turning up week in week out, I never asked for that you are the one who thought listing what you do to support the team was important I did the same.

Strange how in this thread I have disagreed with views off others such as Garp and Casino, yet they have managed to debate their points with a degree of humour and intelligence. You, as you have on a number of other threads, have gone of the rails and resorted to stupid insults and just being a silly cunt. Your inability to understand and debate other peoples views just shows you up time after time as a thick twat.

I don't hold Gartside solely responsible for our financial decline. There's a board of directors and more importantly an owner with just as much input as him.

But as chairman I agree he has to carry the can.

So if the protesters get their wish and gartside steps down, another board member would surely get the gig? From the same board that has got us where we are now?

Unless we overhaul the whole board of directors and quite possibly the owner I just don't see what impact replacing gartside would make.

Phil Gartside is not responsible for the debt. He didnt hold Eddie Davies at gun point and make him shift all his other companies debts on to BWFC.

I understand folk having concerns, but 100 scrotes in corner chanting Gartside out during a match was a fucking disgrace and a total embarrassment to the club. I honestly could have doused the lot in petrol and set the cunts on fire.

Take your protests elsewhere.

And maybe have a think what exactly your protesting for.

Imagine if Eddie Davies thinks fuck you then,I want my money back. Because after all he is now way going to sack his business partner and friend.

one thing I did notice about the protest..

most were too young to remember pre-reebok days...

I'm not sure where the Gartside out argument comes from,

bad appointments.. We were lucky with BSA, last 20 years we haven't had a "big name" manager come in, we simply cant afford one we aren't a big name club and cant justify the wage bill and transfer fee's these managers want to have.. We managed it with BSA, but trying the same with Sammy Lee and Megson led to our ultimate demise. On the contrary, had ED PG forseen this decline, and refused to allow GM and SL this money ( as they had to rein in BSA), would we have been relegated sooner ?

Coyle was an up and coming manager, as was Freedman, Nearly every fan was happy with coyle, and most (some underwhelmed) by DF who had worked wonders at Crystal Palace. Megson wasn't a terrible appointment, it made sense to have a proven manager, but he had the fans hating him...and Sammy Lee was living in BSA's shadow..

Other clubs have had successive bad managers, the only difference is that we have given them a decent amount of time, as is only fair.

Money wise, the accounts are clear to see, we were geared up for premiership without a decent plan B, We're "in debt" to the owner and no other club has ever counted this as debt. We're expanding the Middlebrook complex and have heavily invested in the Free school, which will help promote our academy (GOv talks to allow Free Schools to be profit making can only be a good thing going forward). We simply don't have the set up to be a self sustained Premiership team.

The debts there and we have to chip away at it, the financial constraints are in place so we cant buy any luxury players. I have the impression that DF abused these constraints with his loan system (we still have to pay loan wages), and that his method of getting loads of mediocre squad players and using them in a rotation system would have been utilised better with some quality championship players and utilising the youth system, which by all accounts he has tired to destroy and mainly ignored. DF has brought in his own deadwood to replace the old "deadwood", and the next manager now has the job of sorting through these. Beckford Trotter, Spearing, Moxey and Medo will become DF's version of Mears, Eagles, Andrews, Sordell......

we might get lucky and get promoted but I think a lot of fans have to accept, its bad luck on the appointments and we're down here for a scrap.

Bless em the bed sheet came out for about 10 seconds in the second half. Most fans seemed to want to back the team in adversity.

Not sure how much change in performance folk wanted from half a days training.

All those who want Gartside out have not got a clue what they are talking about - if you understand accounts and business on balance he's taken BWFC to another level both on and off the pitch........we are only £160m in debt because someone was willing to lend it to us mr davies the man should be thanked .......... If it's all wrong having a philanthropic wealthy owner then go and protest at Stamford Bridge and The Etihad for a couple of weeks and give us a fucking break while we try and get behind the team to stop up - it's as simple as that do you really think Eddie davies would allow gartside to rip him off it's all in the publicly available accounts and top executives of multi million pound companies get paid a lot of money because that's the market rate it's how it works so just sod fucking off

Saw a few of the freedman/gartside out t shirt brigade and to be honest the t shirts were broadly in line in the style stakes with what I would expect their regular attire to be.

Didnt look to be the sharpest tools in the shed.

Meeeooow!

That's what I don't understand about some people. They mention all the money he has taken out, but that would be his salary. Just because he is a supporter doesn't mean he should work for free

I'd like to see what every other CEO of similar sized football clubs are on.

Are Wigan fans wanting their chairman out at the minute by the way?

Did Derby or middlesborough oust theirs after similar falls from grace?

The Wigan chairman is amazing, makes profit on every single player and never picks a did manager
