Gonk Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Fuck off bolton I can only hope that Garty came on here to look who would piss you off the most Quote
Thorpey Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Like the risk with the appointment and will back him like any true fan. If you don't like him but will back him then fair play, like any true fan. If you're moaning already without giving the lad a chance, go and support someone else. Cheerio. Quote
famouswanderer Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Fuck off bolton Attention seeking twat Quote
Spider Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Anyone planning on boycotting because he used to manage Celtic isn't fit to back Bolton Shameful Shake your fucking heads I hope he's a massive success and stays in post for 25 years Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 NLSWA Exciting appointment, season starts at brum next Saturday COYWM Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Good luck to him, good appointment, hope he makes it into a great one. He's got a job on even to get us to a respectable position in this Division by May but at least there's still plenty of games to go. Quote
paulhanley Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Taking a punt in saying this - but I think Lennon is the first manager we've had whose nationality is something other than English or Scottish, and Mjallby is the first ever member of the coaching staff to be from anywhere other than the British Isles. Somebody's gonna prove me wrong now. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) Warmed to idea increasingly so more than happy much rather him than hughton just pray he gets a good start if he does it will galvanise us massively all the very very best Neil a man who's shown a lot a lot of steel in football and life and my god we need that and proud of quality of the candidates shows once again our famous club is not quite the basket case it's made out to be... NLSWA!! Edited October 12, 2014 by onlyoneawalker Quote
burndenpaddock Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I'm lumping my life savings on us going up this season. Just the sort of person we need at the club. COYFW Quote
superkev Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 We are punching above our weight here, COYWM. I think you're right. Anyone who can beat Barca and do relatively well in the Champions League with what is effectively a championship team should be doing better than us, which is why I'm very happy with appointment. Quote
gonzo Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I honestly thought we were past pulling off a big name. At the start of all this I was expecting Phil Brown or David Flitcroft. Over the moon we are back on the map. Onwards and upwards folks. Come on you whites Quote
Whites man Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Taking a punt in saying this - but I think Lennon is the first manager we've had whose nationality is something other than English or Scottish, and Mjallby is the first ever member of the coaching staff to be from anywhere other than the British Isles. Somebody's gonna prove me wrong now. We have had a Northern Irish manager before in Jimmy McIlroy, and Charlie Wright was born in Hong Kong. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 And I'll raise anewman his fuck off Bolton - if sections of our support continue to embarrass this club with their ridiculous antics then they best think on because it won't be long till plenty of folk have had enough of listening to it and bugger off - support the club don't keep killing it Quote
wovlad Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Mmmm Interesting appointment. Given where he has come from and the position both in the table & financially we find ourselves in. He's young, ambitious and with something to prove. Surprised he's joined us in that regard. Lets get behind him. Quote
little whitt Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 has he won out apart from with CELTIC a one horse race which my mum could win Quote
no balls Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Disappointed obviously, but I'll be at this club longer than him so he'd best not fuck it up any more than it already is. I'm a Bolton Wanderers fan, managers come & go. Quote
radcliffe white Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Good luck to him he has a job on his hands he will need the full backing by all the fans Quote
glossopWANDERER Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Owen coyle played for Ireland but born in Scotland Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 has he won out apart from with CELTIC a one horse race which my mum could win He's not managed elsewhere I think we will see within a month a massive difference in performance and I expect it to be positive. Quote
nantwichwhite Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 If I was a player and going into training tomorrow and was used to either not giving it my best or not as fit as I should be I would be crapping myself. This man is not to be messed with, like Allardyce and Rioch before him (remember why Rioch got sacked from Torquay). Coyle and Freedman are too nice, the worst thing that they could do to a player was not pick them or not talk to them, either way they cannot be hurt, they still get paid and can run their contract down. However, I think that this new fella will change this. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Disappointed obviously, but I'll be at this club longer than him so he'd best not fuck it up any more than it already is. I'm a Bolton Wanderers fan, managers come & go. Why obviously? You not rate him? Quote
Spider Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Good luck to him he has a job on his hands he will need the full backing by all the fans Our Rangers contingent clearly prefer sectarian bullshit to anything as daft as actually just supporting Bolton. I'm no fan of the IRA either, but it's ansolutely fuck all to do with BWFC Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) I think the founding members of the Lennon-in campaign, and all those who jumped on the bandwagon, down to the reluctant backers who'll put club before personal feelings - we all deserve a pat on the back. The power of the internet NLSWA, the only way is up! Edited October 12, 2014 by Youri McAnespie Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Think it shows celtics budget up as well the fact ours hasn't scared him off Quote
