Very much woe is me and playing the victim card even more than Liverpool (no offence @L/H White). This, boycotting the Ballon D’or, that letter they wrote to the league saying "Decisions against Real Madrid have reached a level of manipulation and adulteration of the competition that can no longer be ignored.". It’s pathetic and embarrassing. And overturning that mbappe 3 match ban to 1. Fucking stinks Quote
paulhanley Posted April 26 Posted April 26 With a poor season for us petering out it's easy to overlook just how exciting the conclusion to various parts of the football league are: Bottom of the Championship has been of car-crash interest for weeks now, top end of our league is boiling up nicely with four of the top six playing each other today. Then the bottom of League 2 has been very stirring (with a slight chance of the bindippers being exiled to non league football again). Hopefully it's us involved in the excitement for 12 months but there's plenty to keep interest high. Quote

Always find the top 7 in League Two interesting, particularly with the angle of next year’s away days Quote

I'm lighting a candle and having a vigil outside the Galactico Bar in Perth. You are just shitty because your former hero Trent is going there. Edited April 26 by bolty58 Quote

gonzo Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Didn't realise that Preston were getting dragged into the dogfight in Championship. Talking to one of theirs this morning saying they are sinking like a stone and could well go. That's another big following local bottle job let down in the offing then. Quote

They’re absolutely shitting themselves 😆 Out in Preston last night. I was telling them all how much I was looking forward to seeing them first game away next season. Quote

Just had a look 1 win in 13 Big game today then Rooting for Plymouth given they've been down there all season but seem to have found life late on Quote

Johnnyrotten Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Just seen Orient's goal v Wycombe. Randall Williams ghosting in the far post, rising like a salmon to head in. I don't think he either headed the ball in 2 years here or appeared inside the opposition's 6 yard box. Quote

Manchester_whites Posted April 26 Posted April 26 If Charlton beat Wrexham today then they could be favourites for automatic promotion Quote
noxid Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Was only used by Evatt for long throws in the last five mins if we were losing and passing sideways the rest of the match Quote

jmjhb Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Plymouth and Cardiff probably down. Bradford bottled it. Hopefully Charlton save football and beat Wrexham later. Quote

I suspect Luton would potentially win L1 next season too so I'd be happy not to be playing them, boring fixture and tough games. Quote
