Mounts Kipper Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Trains should be back for this. We will still be heading into Preston for about 12, might take the Chorley flag to piss off a few natives. Good lad, could do with a Leyland whites flag and Euxton whites flag out for this and maybe the blackpool massive might bring a fylde coast one. Going to be a cracking day out. Quote
DazBob Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Sorry, I meant under 11s and Bi E Are you not going in your Jim-jams? Quote
radcliffe white Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Reminds me of that Blackburn away game 5.30 ko years back messy!! Quote
captainmed Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Police will stop the whole end being available IMO. That said, I'm amazed they've (apparently) allowed the 6pm kick off. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Platt shit if we sell 6k Depends how good our start to season is. Quote
EyesRight Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Platt shit if we sell 6k We will take that just from the Chorley and Adlington contingent....massive game over this way. Quote

davidjack Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 If Boro can manage it I don't see why we wouldn't for a game 20 miles away - where we've not played for 15 years. Quote

Yes league positions were miles apart but they had some journeys to travel to. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Anyone owd enough to remember the Boxing Day game when Roger Hunt made his debut for us there? We filled the away end and had 2/3 of their cop; Preston fans surrounded by the police for their own protection Quote

Guest Blixa Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Trains are buggered until December I have heard. Hopefully someone is getting a hefty fine if that's the case - I know the work is complex but that's a ridiculous delay. The train system round here is seriously taking the piss right now. Quote

Marc505 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Train delays are due to a number of issues - technical problems & Japanese knotweed as Ive said on another topic. Plus government pulling out of loads of northern contracts has left a few companies in chaos. Some of the projects around this area are stopped dead in their tracks and some are awaiting another company to come in and pick up the contract to continue but as it stands no-one is willing to come in and take up the responsibility. The company the lad I know works for is so strapped for cash that every day the other week he turned up to a compound to find it locked off or being bulldozed because they cant afford to keep the places running, its a large and well known firm too. On its arse around here. They've told him railway work down south is plentiful though... Quote
tomski Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I think we will sell this easy. Our numbers always swell on a good boozing opportunity. LGW Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I am in Munich that weekend; anyone know of bars there that show sky games? Quote
