no balls Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 On a tenuous type link, it's 29 years today since Ole Red Nose joined the scum. Quote
jules_darby Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Well, I'm happy for Jay Lynch  That's about it Quote
bgoefc Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Fucking hell, reading this thread is depressing for many reasons. Quote
L/H White Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I wish the Bolton team had that chemistry and commitment  What a performance  Best game I've been for ages Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I wish the Bolton team had that chemistry and commitment  What a performance  Best game I've been for ages It was there cup final, wouldn't expect anything less, look at us against Liverpool last season. Quote
birch-chorley Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Aye, they're both there  Shocking class of supporter Who's Liam Frey? Quote
Sweep Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Spawn of the scum. Is Salford the only city outside London with three footie teams? Sheffield has  Sheffield Wednesday Sheffield United Sheffield FC (the oldest football club in the world...apparently) Quote
birch-chorley Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Salford, MUFC and FC United of Manchester. Is FCUM in Salford? I thought that they were next to city's ground in Newton Heath? Â Besides Liverpool has... Â Liverpool, Everton, Prescott Cables, Marine & I think that there is an AFC Liverpool set up like FCUM Quote
MancWanderer Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 7 o'clock flight back from Dublin tonight. Fucking horrendous. All the airport bars packed with gobshites getting pissed for their weekend away at Old Trafford. Plane full of baggy trackie bottoms, a lack of teeth and BO. Baggage carousel at Manc airport shared with a flight from Oslo. Norwegian versions of the same gobshites. Â Do I take the moral stance of BWFC are my team because I was born and bred there or be envious that they can pack 76,000 high-spending idiots in there? Â Mr Halitosis in the seat next to me asks if I'll be watching any football this weekend. Yes, I'll hope to catch the second half of Salford City and going to watch BWFC. Cue the blank expression and two questions. "Who?" And..."Who?" Â Sad Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 As a regular flyer in the old days it used to do my box in watching these jokers from God knows where dressed in their scum regalia flying back home .I once said to some massive Irish fecker at the bar 'Are there no decent teams in Ireland ? I know he wanted to twat me there & then especially when he noticed my tiny bwfc badge but he had two pints in his hands & at nearly five quid a pint opted for a grunt. Quote
MancWanderer Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Went to Derby away at Pride Park years ago on a corporate do. Lost 1-0 with Malcolm Christie scoring right at the end and Paul Warhurst kicking the shite out of anything that moved. Introduced to a couple of Irish in our hospitality box who were massive Bolton fans. When I asked why they were Bolton fans they said they they were sick of everyone picking United or Liverpool so simply went for another team that they reckoned were worth following. Â Part of me thought good on you. The other part thought ffs!!!! Quote
Zico Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Sheffield has  Sheffield Wednesday Sheffield United Sheffield FC (the oldest football club in the world...apparently) Must've been pretty dull till the second one came along Quote
Dr Faustus Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 When was the last time you could hear a fan offer a player out one on one, right now?   Fair play BBC.  Also have to say, well done Ammies  Furthermore, well done Jermaine Jenas for getting your head around the word Salford after only an hour Quote
Nobster Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 We used to drink in the village hotel at prestwich and every United home game a coach from Ireland and a coach from Scandinavia arrived. On the Saturday after the game everyone of the wanders would be wearing a new United shirt and the shite that went with it, a lad I know said that is why the club love them average spend per head in the shop is £200 every game. royal white Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 What a come down from watching a bunch of amateurs, many of who are in work on Monday, to watching that shower of shit this afternoon. Quote

Liverpool, Everton, Prescott Cables, Marine & I think that there is an AFC Liverpool set up like FCUM It's pushing it to say Prescot & Crosby are Liverpool. Though lots of scouse accents around. Last I heard, AFC Liverpool were based at Prescot, but that may have changed. Quote

Last I heard, AFC Liverpool were based at Prescot, but that may have changed. They're based at Marine now. Â There aren't any senior non league clubs within the Liverpool boundaries, though I hear a new club 'City of Liverpool FC' is looking to join the North West Counties next season. Big spread of Scouse players around the leagues though, not to mention a raft of them playing in the Welsh Prem Quote

no balls Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I remember as a kid my dad was always in a foul mood when we played Marine. He couldn't stand scousers & I recall they were always dirty bastards. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Bootle? Are they still going?Yeah they're still going but Bootle is in Sefton rather than Liverpool (along with Crosby and Litherland) Quote
