onlyoneawalker Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Hungover to shit on a Sunday sipping some hair of the dog and I got to thinking right back has been such a troublesome position for us for fooking ages so who's the best right back we've ever had? I started going in 83 so it's a struggle to pick out a stand out player - browny?! Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 Roy hartle obviously wins but I was aiming at different generations! Quote

onlyoneawalker Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 Never saw ritson just before my time think Derek Scott was our number 2 when started only memory of him I have is the fact he was right stocky Quote
Didledee Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 JOB was very good at RB, a big step up from Hunt. Mendy was a part of Okocha's first season and I enjoyed his game, though he was inconsistent. Steinsson was good at times but his positional play was really bad. Quote
Morizio Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Derek Scott was fucking shit. Soft fat geordie cunt. Quote
bwfc87 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Gudni and Bruno were very solid when played at right back Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 (edited) Isn't it a rule that a load of our youth prospects have to play at right back, regardless of their natural position? Holden, Hunt, O'Brien, Vela, Threlkeld, Holding - only Hunt actually played RB with any regularity before coming in to the first team. Edited December 20, 2015 by Leyther_Matt Quote
BWFC_LOVE Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Bruno would've made it his for years had he not been so useful at centre half IMO. Wasn't the quickest but was spot on positionally. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Joe Riley.Knew there was another, though he was a natural RB. Just remembered James Sinclair - striker for the kids, RB in the UEFA if memory serves me right. Quote
onlyoneawalker Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 Hayden white he is an actual rb though well sort of Quote
Guest Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Gudni by a mile Yep, agreed Easy to forget as a RB as he was a God at CB. Quote
