Site Supporter Ratwhite Posted September 11, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted September 11, 2016 I stand my previous statement of Buxton being shite. Get Wilson back in. Agreed. He hasn't got a cross in him. Overall, quite a beige performance. We won't win the league, not enough goals in us. Happy with a point as we should have lost but for the penalty save. Think PP as us set up for away game. We will win at Warsaw
captainmed
He's unsuited to any role that requires concerted effort for any length of time and the ability to move any faster than a tugboat. In one. Watches the game go by. Lazy. He adds nothing.
Matt Lofthouse
Trotters out as soon as Pratley is back fit, but until then he's all we have. Needs backing not making a scapegoat.
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted September 11, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted September 11, 2016 Very disappointed not to be 2 or 3 up at the break. MK were shit from the off but we took our foot off the gas as soon as we scored. Our tempo has been far to slow for much of our home games this season. Buxton I generally don't mind but he was back on his heels 2 or 3 times which proved costly namely the goal and penalty. That said, the penalty incident I think (might have been the goal) started with Spearing being back on his heels and not winning the ball half way in their half on the touch line. I don't really understand the criticism of Vela, he's no world beater but he's nowhere near our biggest problem whereas Trotter offers nothing much. A lot of our problems started yesterday when Vela was moved inside because Henry was too lazy or too thick to realise their keeper was passing to the number 4 to ping a long diaganal to the black lad up front. That pass caused problems for 30 mins of 2nd half until Sammi came on. Proctor is a willing worker but just not very good as a striker. I think he might actually be better suited to the role Trotter has been playing. Overall, not a great result but no disaster either. We'll get loads of away wins this season and be frustrated a lot at home
radcliffe white
I have no doubt It will gel together soon. Well basically it has too if we want promotion because carry on like this and it will be a scrap for the play offs st the best. Teams who have got promoted from this league have generally had a good 20+ goalscorer we haven't so others need to step up

Site Supporter Ratwhite Posted September 11, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted September 11, 2016 Trotter brings nothing to the team he's just there, give Derek a game in midfield can't be any worse Derek in a holding midfield role. Been saying the same. He can pass a ball.

With Tom Thorpe in the squad does it mean we have already enlisted the support of the Red Army?
Blondi
With Spearing being banned, I reckon Tom Thorpe will slot straight into Spearing's position against Walsall.
bgoefc
With Tom Thorpe in the squad does it mean we have already enlisted the support of the Red Army? The timing of that depends on whether Thorpy has sorted out his differences with the Japs. So I expect that support to appear after half time. Dr Faustus
I dont belive this there is a guy in scotts bar with a united shirt on have we become Bury? haha; he walked with us, and wasn't originally coming all the way... perhaps I shouldn't have told him he'd be welcome with open arms had to cover up inside, and three stewards around him for his own protection... after a ten min wait he was allowed to his seat
enzo gambaro
Spearing's will be big boots to fill, was top class again today, best player on pitchBut as much to blame for the goal as anyone. Arguments against the inclusion of Trotter and Vela will have to wait until Spearing has served his ban. But Vela plays, for me.

ianofcleveleys
Been steadily more impressed with Beevers game by game. Nothing flashy but just does proper defending well. Him and Wheater looking solid pairing Edited September 11, 2016 by ianofrochdale
Jol_BWFC
fuck me that was a soft pen It was free kick about 2 yards outside the box. Can't believe the ref fell for the oldest trick in the book - win a foul but fall inside the box.
BOWTUN BAKED
not unless we move the ball forward a lot quicker , and have someone who can score Is the correct answer
clown
With a fox in the box we'd be 20 points clear by the end of the season. As it is, drawing and winning games will see us top 6. None of our players have got any better in 4 months, we're just playing against poorer teams. We'll get 3 against Walsall and all will be fine again. Terrible decision and considering some of the shit he let go at the other end too, he was not a very good ref and thats being nice
jturner
One clean sheet in the 7 league games this season. If we can't outscore teams in high scoring thrillers we're going to have to shut up shop better.
