Watched first one of series two. I'll bet my left one the baddies turn out to be the 'far right' yet again. Those who have let plenty of bombs off around the UK won't even get a mention whilst those who have never done so (however fucking deranged many of them might be) will be the bogeymen again.

BBC and ITV riddled with it. Brainwashing attempts by no doubt good friends of one of our regular contributors.

I think the yanks refer to this sort of stuff as a 'snow job'.

it's just a TV show mate, just a nice watchable drama

2nd series better than the firs to

Cheers pal. Only had the first of S2 so far down here. Shows promise but if it goes the way I think it might, it will be a case of "FFS, not again. Bin it".

Never done so?

Watched first one. Didn't grab me. Not in same league as 'True Detective: North Country' IMO but opinion is what it's all about I suppose.

I'm watching that as well.  'Tis also very good.

Watched two morbid documentaries last night. The BG one on YouTube (mentioned in the BG thread) and the Nicola Bulley story. Both incredibly sad, but worth the effort to watch and find out bits you don’t really hear or see during the cases unfolding at the time.

So what was your verdict on Nicola Bully?

My wife plumped for her suicide but I'm more , seems dodgy but coppers made such a mess of it that any result will do.

Getting better and more intriguing with every episode.

Even better, it brought this to the forefront of my mind. Still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

Watched a couple of episodes of Masters Of The Air. Its okay, not a patch on Band Of Brothers for me, but okay.

There was one unexpectedly graphic scene in it, took me by surprise!

If anyones planning to watch it I was advised to skip the starting credits, for some daft reason there's apparently major plot spoilers in it.

Heard mixed reviews so far so I'll wait until someone's done the lot before I go for it. Ta for the heads up on the potential spoilers

Problem for me will always be that I've watched Band Of Brothers And The Pacific countless times and could easily start them both again tomorrow. In fact I may well do so...

If Masters Of The Air is anywhere near them in terms of quality I'll give it a go

Just finished episode 3, it's carnage. They do a good job of showing the brutality of it all and I'd say it's worth watching.

Still don't think it's quite at the level of Band Of Brothers and I think that's partly down to a lot of it being CGI (and sometimes not brilliant CGI) but it's far easier to make a series about a ground war than an air war.

Somehow never got round to watching The Pacific!
