Aye was a tough watch that. A good reminder that behind all the sabre rattling and jingoism, were scared young lads doing the best they could in horiffic circumstances. Quote

The man in the flat cap who had to headbutt someone to death at Goose Green, and the guy who took the sniper round up close, I could have listened to those characters speak for hours. Some of those people are still in a very bad place aren't they. Quote

Real life crime that drags out a story too long, old films and loads of WW2 docs - Hitler's Secret Sex Life was one of the latest. Thinking of giving it up, apart from rewatching Borgen and Peep Show, can't say I've watched anything on it for ages. Must admit that I've not watched much new stuff on there as it's been a bit shit. It's mainly been recommendations of old stuff from folk on here. Just about to start Series 4 of Better Call Saul. I just keep an eye on this thread and pick up recommendations Quote

tomski Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 That Sherwood was a tough watch. I can’t believe so many people with that accent should be allowed to congregate in one programme. Brutal. Quote

However, I did watch a great film on there last night. Redemption of a rogue, an Irish film, a bit strange but a great dark comedy with a belting little soundtrack that I'd imagine you may like. Probably the wrong thread as its not a TV show, nevermind. Quote
