Where are we getting players who can manage that? (and where have they been for the past three years). Perfect acceptable figures for someone who isn't a striker. More than Ameobi, Madine or ALF ever managed

Is it a case of a young player who can't fulfill potential? In the right side I think he's fine but you need right side around him - not sure we're there right now. chrisw99
Lots more rumours, but hardly any for strikers. We need a goal scorer more than anything to get on the end of the crosses from Verbinden and Morais.

paulhanley
Decent three signings so far. Don't get all the negativity about Buckley - I suspect he'll be a far better fit for Hill's style of play.

He didn't want to leave for forest and probably wasn't ready. Just needs an opportunity to get his career back on track. Forest have something like 40 players and probably need to clear a few. Clough on loan (maybe contract cancelled) would be a no brainer. Whether Keith Hill wants to go down that route though is up to him.
Wanderlust
It's good that Hill's former players seem keen to play for him again. Suppose that would be the first place he'd be looking given the timescale. Hill's been magic so far and now he's gone and pulled a bunney out of the hat.... I'm thinking we perhaps might want to get a big lad up front the way the team seems to be shaping up.
Kane57
Chris O'Grady being mentioned now. Wonder if there are any more ex-Dale players on the horizon. Henderson maybe, Wilbraham?

Farnywhite
Clough would be a good signing he always put us on the front foot when he was on the ball Good free kicks something We haven’t had since he left and Morais

Site Supporter HomerJay Posted September 2, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted September 2, 2019 On 2 September 2019, Murphy joined Bolton Wanderers following the termination of his contract at Nottingham Forest. He signed a two-year deal with Bolton Wanderers following their recent takeover 2 years at 36? really?
