It's just stupid not to register a bloke who's on your books while there's space... & he can be de-registered in seconds if someone bobbles along. Not that they would at that stage, or be fit if they did. Love & k's, Twisty Knickers 😘. Can they ? I thought once they were on the list , that spot was taken until the next renewal period (Jan in this case). in fact, from the EFL regulations : Quote Changes outside of a Transfer Window The League will only consider granting permission to make changes to the Squad List outside of a Transfer Window where: the Club’s current Squad List contains less than the maximum number of Players permitted to be included on the Squad List and the Club wishes to add an Out of Registration Player or another Player registered with the Club but not currently included on the Squad List, or; in other truly exceptional circumstances to include but not be limited to those set out in the note from EFL Player Admin found on the EFL Portal. Lt. Aldo Raine Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Yeah, it'd have to be a case of a player sustaining a provable long-term injury to have a deregistration approved Quote
Whitesince63 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Isn’t it pretty obvious that Evatt doesn’t rate him whatever we may think or he would have given him a spot? I quite like him but Evatt sees him every day and it’s his judgement that counts. What surprised me was that he didn’t even get a loan move because surely he’s better than many we’ve seen at this level and below? Quote
burnden Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Read earlier that evatt is saying he expects a busy January window both incoming and outgoing .. who do we expect to be going out? Quote
Lt. Aldo Raine Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Conway, Santos, Arfield, Morley, Vic Quote
burnden Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 These are the players are out of contract soon Quote
Popular Post gonzo Posted December 6, 2024 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2024 Selling Santos would be suicide. Quote
Lt. Aldo Raine Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 We'll probably decide it's better to keep him and release him in the summer but I heard he'd decided not to sign a new contract so it's possible we might cash in whilst we can Quote

BWFC_LOVE Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Perhaps Forino (when/if) fit has been primed for the Santos role long term. He’s been shocking when he has played as right-sided centre half. Not holding out much hope after that shocking error in the Arsenal game either. Quote

Some way off, then cash in. In with a decent chance, then keep him. If we were to go up, he may decide to sign anyway. Quote

Club obviously hope he will change his mind, but his closest family member was telling anyone who'd listen a couple of weeks ago that he wasn't signing. No falling out with Evatt, just wants something new. If the club think they can get good money in Jan, it isn't beyond the realms that he gets sold. Quote

There's nobody paying money for a division 3 defender that's out of contract at the end of the season. Quote

Depends on how much someone wants him. Wouldn't cost much, and would avoid competition later. Wrexham can pay a couple of million for him. 🤣 Quote

tomski Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 If he wants to go then fair play. We need a rebuild anyway. Any offer should be considered in Jan. Quote
