Surely he's going to wait for an offer from the championship

Grossly unfair IMO. The lad absolutely ripped league 1 for two seasons in an average side. Definitely capable of championship football but not at our by-pass midfield set up.

Why unfair

If he's as good as some think, he may as well hold out

Granted, either club is probably in a better place than us

As for his ability, he's not had many chances but when he has, I've been disappointed and I would've loved him to do well

A few flashes per game would've been nice

I walked out of Rotherham at the side of him and he's so small he's got a massive disadvantage to overcome

Seems a good sort, tries and I'd wish him well

I just think we were a bad fit for him. His confidence has gone. There is a good player in there, I think his lack of height is only a problem because we have not used him correctly. Where is the player who stroked one in at Leeds on his first game ?

Who are the Championship clubs that'd be interested in Buckley, Noone, O'Neill or any of about half a dozen players who get chance after chance in the team?

He scored 15 goals a season for a side who finished 14th and 19th in League One. No other player currently at the club could do that in a million years. And fwiw, WhoScored has him comfortably ahead of everyone else in our squad in terms of key passes per game for this season.

It's a straw man to say that people are making him out to be Pele, just because they think he's worth more of a shout in one of the poorest attacking teams ever to play in the Football League.

Connell has shown enough this half to justify getting shut of oztumer

Aye buts that’s in a team going completely against parkinson tactics.

tonight they’ve gone out and done the complete opposite of what Parkinson’s tells em.

put oztumer in that situation and completely different

He is as good as the 78 year-old Pele.

No use to us

Might get a few bob for him?

If we had Ronaldo, Messi and Aguero sat in the stands under Parky it doesn't justify giving them away for a small fee. I would prefer to keep hold until Parky has gone. Just think what he can do for us in Div 1 with a real manager. Yet we could be strengthening next season's potential rivals for a pittance. I hate the fact that Parky doesn't just ruin this season but can make decisions that will effect the next manager's prospects too.

You know what I mean

oztumer scored against Leeds in the cup when we supposedly played decent.

oztumer in our usual approach has no chance. Just like messi or hazard.

not comparing him to them but I thinks hes a victim of our style

Well said. Some seem to want him to be better than our attack under Colin Todd to justify getting half an hour occasionally. Yet nobody else is judged the same (since ALF).

im biased but he’s no where near madine for that

Maybe, probably, but that's not his game

He absolutely bossed derby

He can do it, but the balls in have to be better

Which is why I find it hard to believe PP scouted and targeted him as a summer signing, given he wasn't too interested in playing Clough in his proper position in either spell

But KA says they're all PPs transfer targets

So dunno what PP was thinking signing him

Parky can't fit a number 10 into the way he plays, most teams will play through the number 10 we tend to play over him
