His confidence has gone. There is a good player in there, I think his lack of height is only a problem because we have not used him correctly. He scored 15 goals a season for a side who finished 14th and 19th in League One. No other player currently at the club could do that in a million years. And fwiw, WhoScored has him comfortably ahead of everyone else in our squad in terms of key passes per game for this season. It's a straw man to say that people are making him out to be Pele, just because they think he's worth more of a shout in one of the poorest attacking teams ever to play in the Football League.
