The opposition is invisible,  trying to be reform.

They need to sack of KB, she's beyond useless and offers nothing.

Farage is just milking it and laughing all the way.

I like Kemi but she ain’t the answer. There are a number of posters on here  who have declared themselves as disenchanted Conservative voters. A right of centre leader could take the middle ground . Unfortunately, I can’t see one.

I don't think there is a right answer for the Conservative party at the moment.

A few of the more right leaning mps/former mps have openly expressed their disappointment at what happened last time out, with suggestions that the leadership, and some of the "wets" fucked up their chances.

I can only see her copying Starmer's efforts last time, and don't offer too much in terms of policy whilst the government destroys itself.

Some slight movement maybe towards a more hawkish attitude to the immigration issue, but it still doesn't seem to be strong enough.

Perhaps the main parties have now realised that they can't sort out the situation with their core values, and in a way will be happy for someone else to do it.

Once the necessary measures are taken, they can then come back at the end of that parliamentary term on traditional policies, without needing to threaten to reverse the "reforms".

Farage then retires from politics, and conservatism gradually merges back together.

Farage is certainly showboating and enjoying the attention, but he won't fancy the top job, others and a new party are lined up.

He's done his work to clear out Labour and Conservatives.

A new leader will emerge, but it won't be Farage

I've said that loads of times, he'll start to shit his pants soon, just in case he does get the top job. He was gutted when Brexit happened (as was Johnson) surely he can't be unlucky enough to "win" again.

As you say, if it looks like he might win, he'll leave Reform, and they could collapse as a result. Never in a million years does he wants the top job, as he'd actually have to do some work, and he earns plenty already, without having to do anything, other than talk shit. He's all about grifting, not grafting.

Exactly. He even made a claim very trump like that migrants are eating swans FFS. We don't believe complete bollocks here like they do in the US.

He also didn't dare disagree with Trump's bollocks about paracetamol or vaccines which should tell everyone about the bloke.

You could well be correct. I have my doubts. I think his ego has been massaged to such an extent by fawning desperates like myself that he might well fancy wearing the crown for a while.

Like Uncle Sam, a disruptor is needed to shake the election winning machine from its stupor, focus the minds and return to suppressing sinister reds at every turn. I suppose that he has already achieved this to an extent but I have an inkling that he may feel duty bound to properly represent the silent majority. Time will tell of course.

Either way, more strength to the man. The most effective politician with a backbone we have produced since the imperious Maggie.

You’ve surpassed yourself with this sentence 😂. Would you really want to go live in the US at the moment after just 9 months of the disruptor-in-chief in charge? Even you must admit it’s turning into a complete sh!tshow faster than everyone predicted. And you want to replicate that mess here - no thanks.

Why wouldn’t you want to live there if that was your plan? What’s changed in 9 months that would make someone change their mind?

Not got the energy for this today my friend, but I would challenge anyone to look at the US now and compare it to January 19th, and hand on heart say things had changed for the better, both in terms of fairness and quality of life for (all) its citizens, and economic stability and social cohesion on the world stage.

You can call me what you want, and whilst I’m flattered on this occasion, I’m more of an agnostic atheist truth be told 👍.

Which one, the original one, or the "new" one (Theresa May) 😉

He's different.

He was headhunted. Australia needed him.

This digital ID really has got folk in a flap.

Lisa isn't a fan, which was a shock.

I've DM'd her and said that if she sends me a picture of her jugs I'll make sure it doesn't happen (because I know it won't).

I'll let you know her reply.

You won't like the Democrats in the US then? Judiciary weaponisers.

Projection again!!

Trump - the only president in history to weaponise the DoJ against his opponents. In plain sight as per his social media post to Pam Bondi. FACT!

PS - I’m resisting temptation to put you on ignore - I think you’d agree it’s important to call out misinformation 😇

fwiw, you're waffling nonsense, again

or playing me like a fiddle

who knows, anymore

Who used that term? Certainly wasn't me. Don't let an offhand comment by another contributor give you a complex.

I've benefitted from immigration without a doubt. Being head hunted is slightly different to filling out an application but you knew that.

As per usual you completely ignore all those on here against illegal immigration who have acknowledged the benefits of legal immigration and then you try the broad brush tactic of labelling folk as 'against all immigration'. Clearly 'waffling nonsense' on your part.
