Ridiculous really isn't it, this scheme is a waste of time and money, as was the Rwanda scheme (was that £700M for 4 people?) - no scheme will ever work, they'll just keep coming, and the number will continue to increase, no matter who is in power

They only stop coming, if/when we don't make it an attractive proposition to be here

It's common sense really, isn't it

Or work to stop their countries of origin being shitholes. At an event with refugee wimmin earlier in the week and the majority were from Iran, Afghanistan and Syria. Not countries I'd fancy living as a bloke never mind a lass.

Yes because billions havent already been spent in thsoe shit holes. When you have corrupt / terrorist governments it’s obvious where the money will go. As sweep says, stop making it so attractive.

We've sold billions in weapons to be used to bomb Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan etc. not sure how that makes folk want to stay in those countries.

The number of migrants isn't solely a UK issue, the best option is making it so people don't feel the desire to pay people smugglers their life savings to escape.

Do you think they check where the weapons have come from first before deciding where to go? Regardless of where we have bombed we have also given those countries, plus many more that we havent bombed, billions to improve their countries. They still flee.

They don’t do themselves any favours do they.

Thought it was different and quite impactful tbh. Sadly it won’t, but it should make people think twice before voting Reform “for a change” by hearing what some of their politicians really think/say, and seeing what some of the future will look like (boats aside). I suspect a lot will regret what they’re about to do. I know my mum will 🙄.

Hard to see it doing Labour any good though in the local elections, plus would rather a political party be positive about what they will do, not negative on what the opposition will. But none of them seem to do that.  It’s all about “project fear” from all sides.

We can't continue doing this.......

FFS - is there no unifying force we can all get behind which is a little less simplistic than - get rid of foreigners?

Country needs a real think about where we're heading - who is going to be a part of it and what type of country we want to be.

I take issue with that word. 'Foreigners' who integrate are welcome. Ghetto forming primitives aren't.

Look at me. I drink beer, eat pies (Now and again - not in excess like someone I could mention) and speak English since I moved here.

I think your integration might have been a bit less of a culture shock! 😁

I know what you're saying though. We don't mind immigration. We just want the right type of people coming over who are going to build a life here and contribute.

I think we probably all agree that we've lost sight of that over the past couple of decades.

Does that boring cunt Dullard Darren still post on here or has he completely ruined it?

By the way you all bum border collies and have spunk bubbles coming out of your bottoms, and who is in charge of ITK these days, put me back in you marmite drillers

Some of the replies! 😅

It’s the level of political debate now. A bit like on here. As has been said, they’ll all be at it.

I think we probably all agree that we've lost sight of that over the past four decades.

All well and good when you have a squeaky clean party. Labour don’t have that….none of them do.

I fully agree with you there but Reform are off the scale in comparison. You know it and anyone taking any kind of notice knows it also. Won't make a difference anyway, they are our next government unless something very weird happens.

Anyone could make a film like that, using snippets of conversations.

Cousin marriage is good, "I propose the abolition of the monarchy", "I'd stab him in the front, not the back" etc.

A few trawls through social media and interviews will reveal plenty.

Select the ones which best suit, ignore any context, and bingo.

It won't work though, and is more an example of desperation.

Given the recent labour leaflet dropped through my m-i-l's letter box, they would do a lot better if they weren't so removed from the public's concerns.

Instead, they still level the racist comment at anyone that doesn't agree with them.

A simple word, that could so readily be used by their opponents on a similar advert.

What colour are Farage’s trousers today?
This is what the public wants to know.

I once sacked someone for wearing red trousers on my building site.

Also a pipe smoker once 😄

Got my copy of "What if Reform Wins" by Peter Chappell on order.

It's a "docu-novel" covering their first two years to be released April 30th, should be a hoot... check it out, Jenrick sacked for a leadership challenge, Anderson resigning as Home Sec, Speaker dispensed with and so on

Heard him talking about it on a podcast the other day. Very well researched, and it does sound like a plausible timeline of future events.
