I was surprised to learn recently that the French had blocked our entry to the EEC a few times before finally allowing us. Quote

Agree the EU needs a reform but I’m struggling to see how being outside of that gets it right. I also understand it will be a long time before we know if it’s been right or wrong to move. Surely influencing within as a big player would of achieved more? Cameron tried that. Laughable. Quote

We’d exhausted all avenues, we were given no other option other than to suck it up, and that led us to vote to leave, the EU was so arrogant, they never thought we’d go through with it. Quote

Then he, and the EU got a bloody nose. Quote

It’s same rules now, you can’t spend more than 6 months each year, unless you take residency, loads of folk do though, off radar, but it’s not legal. Quote

We've basically been bullied and pushed around from pillar to post for the last 40 years, and never had any input or say on anything, let alone agreed to any of the rules that they've forced upon us.
