Not as much as this I would say going off the media reaction to both.

I think that's probably has something to do with the fact there's no hard evidence he said the words

If there'd have been a recording of it, it'd be a different story

Aye. Probably right. He’s a skid mark no doubt.

Are you trying to make a point? - if so, what is it?

You really shouldn't just keep posting screen shots with no reference or context, as they really don't mean anything.

I'm sure @Cheese or @Spiderwill be along shortly, to advise this has come, as usual, from some pile of bollocks think tank or research group that don't say where or how they get their figures....

Waste of time bothering. He never posts a follow up or any type of explanation. As you say, best to just assume it's from some fruit loop on twitter and completely ignore it.

Diver is saying that we’ve all got loads of savings from furlough.

I can immediately see 3 issues with this claim.

I bet you've got all yours in those Government Bonds haven't you...

The other day his sources included a website warning us to beware of the weapons of the state who are dressed in white labcoats and work in pharmacies.

It's a bit scary what the internet has done to fairly intelligent and rational thinking people.

Doctors striking for 35%

Fucking ridiculous

Jokers!

Itd cost the country 1.5 billion quid

A quarter of what scrapping inheritance tax would cost

What possibly could be the motivation of a PM worth £700 million be to scrap inheritance tax?

Mmm, I wonder.

To be fair, I don't think it's that

I think it's just a desperate attempt to claw back (or I suppose retain) as many votes from their typical voting bloc as possible

A damage preservation thing

Aye, probably.

I'm just a cynical fucker.

I’ve always thought inheritance tax is a bit wanky anyway.

When you’re taxed your whole life is seems a bit churlish to tax you for fucking dying.

This is just a way to get votes from a dwindling amount they have available, but I’ve no real problem with the tax being scrapped.

Now, taxing the likes of the big energy lads on profits at the pumps and the gas meters, now that’s a different story.

Generally, id agree, but now is not the time

I dont even know the level its set at these days, but it seems lots of the wails are from folk in the south east inheriting 7 figure properties

Thats not taxed earned cash

Lift the thresholds by all means, when the time is right

When the brexit sun breaks through the clouds?
