Mounts Kipper
Is this all not a bit like us taking 200 to Pisa for an Anglo Italian cup tie? We took about a 1000 to Pisa when we still had some passion and we kept singing for the whole game.
Traf
The game was supposed to be played over at the Academy as a training exercise. They had to switch it when they heard how many Germans were coming.
BoltonBoy80
Pisa away. Remember we’re the one and only wanderers being sang for about 40 minutes and fans doing the conga around the away end. The Pisa journalists couldn’t believe their eyes! Fucking brilliant

BoltonBoy80
Pretty sure I’ve got video of Pisa match from roadrunner with Dave higson. Remember watching it religiously when I was younger watching all the Bolton fans singing and doing conga. Honestly we’re the one and only wanderers gets sang for absolutely ages!! Will try to post it on here. One or two on here might see themselves. Video also shows and interviews fans on plane

Marc505
would love to see that Same here! I get strangely fuzzy about Anglo Italian Cup stories, such a quirky tournament. World class whinging on BN/Twitter about yesterdays game not being "marketed better", meanwhile.
Moderators Carlos Posted January 9, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 9, 2018 Ancona I think was 9 or 12, something like that Ascoli. Ancona was was at home, along with Brescia (Georgi Hagi et al).

Dr Faustus
I don't get the lack of marketing complaints- it was on the website, it was spoken of around the ground a few weeks back, and ultimately it was a showcase for new talent/development squad... it was less than a pre-season game. I knew about it, and if I wanted to I could have got up there... I chose not to (shit fan) Is it just the good readers of BN than like to complain about anything and everything? If the club had marketed it as a 2pm Development Tea,/Triallists friendly at a tenner a ticket, they'd have been slagging Ken off to fuck. KA & the club can't win with some folk, so they're best ignored.
Moderators Zico Posted January 9, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 9, 2018 aye, assuming someone who doesn't attend any other U23 game went, then surely it would just have been to watch some Germans light flares, because other than that, why go
gonzo
Some copper having a pop at one of our players tweeting a picture of the flares because he's condoning law breaking. What a cunt. ACAB
Moderators Horwich Posted January 9, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 9, 2018 As the game wasn’t sanctioned by the FA, were they really breaking the law? Germans drinking whilst watching the game and stewards not stopping fans smoking.
Moderators Casino Posted January 9, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 9, 2018 id guess smoking is a breach of the fire risk assessment i think bwfc just keep their heads down and let it blow over

I challenge anyone to set fire to a seat with a cigarette or even a match or lighter. The amount of pyrolysis created by the heat of that flame would struggle to bring the seat up to its ignition temperature. I'd imagine the same challenge to someone with a flare in his hand would be a damned site more likely.
