My current favourites are Mangrove  (BYO) in Howfen & Achari in town,

 

Only been once but the Royal Balti in Farnworth was really good too.

 

Nawab in Stockport (?) is good but only been once - for a buffet place was surprised how fresh everything was.

 

 

Wilmslow Road is over rated - nothing special at all IMO.

Karims used to be good on heywood old Road middleton, £12 indian buffet with a few Chinese meals thrown in. Not been in a while tho. Used to have a sentry dressed in traditional outfit on the car park iirc.

Nawab is Levenshulme so just on the Manc bit of the A6. When summat is on there it fucks up the traffic in the area. Pisses me right off

Indian Ocean,Market Street, Howfen is my favourite and better than any restaurant I've been.

Aye, it was. Dreadful place. Always preferred the one over the road and I’ve been trying to remember what it was called for years. It wasn’t Abdul’s, but Burnden Bogs has finally put an end to my pain - ta!

Used to love a Friday RaT from the place on Great Moor Street.

It was bedlam behind the counter but it worked everyone got what they ordered in a timely fashion and it was tasty as fuck.

I take it he means Mahabharat in Hindley?... It's my favourite curry house, an old Wesleyan Chapel. Anyone remember the name of the one near the sex shop on St George's Rd? That was top notch. Robert Carlysle was in one night when we were there.
