Tough one for KA

He knows more than anyone the conditions PP has had to work under

He also probably now knows he isn't the man to get the fans back in numbers which is what he seems to want most (though whether he thinks anyone else can is another matter)

But one thing is for sure is whatever decision he makes he won't be swayed or influenced by public opinion or how loud the boos are

Sack him or keep him, it'll be this season's gamble and his last two, selling Clough and Madine paid off, just

I’d think only SA could get fans back and he’s only man I’d sack Parky for.

His last 3 gambles/decisions paid off, with the other one being keeping faith with Parky during  the terrible start to last season.

I'm hoping that Mr Anderson will now come out & make it clear that Parky has his full support for all the season !!

Aye, to be fair most chairman would've sacked the manager last season after those first 11 games so fair to say KA held his nerve then

He's given him over a million to spend this year so his expectations will probably be higher, so far, position wise, it's working

PP needs a win one way or another and soon

Can't see a win in the next 2, but the match winner that is ameobi is missing and we are still better off than last season.

millwall the key game ........

You will probably laugh but out of them I think we are more likely to get something at villa, Swansea seem to be turning the heat and scoring goals

You are right, this is the worst Aston Villa side in almost 50 years and Parky organises a team more competently away from home

You're a bright lad

He's given him nowhere near a million

He's given him 200k plus whatever we have to pay for dodge

It won't get near a million unless he wins the basketball world cup for Wales :)

I predict a run of goals further down the line then a prolonged spell on the bench with the rumour being we don't want to pay the next installment

Not sure how we could afford to pay him off for a start. Certainly don’t see that and paying compensation to another club for a currently employed Manager. Leaving us with a small pool to fish from, and therefore not the most coveted of options.

I’m far from convinced with Parky - he’s had an incredibly hard task, but I just don’t see him installing teams that appear to “know” the gameplan and have the confidence to complete the process. The players have to take some responsibility but irrespective of how little we’ve spent it’s his job to make them go out there believing they’re 10ft tall and will win - maximising the potential that they do have - I don’t feel he does that. Never mind the tactics!

On balance however, I feel it could be out of the frying pan and into the fire, even if we could afford to sack him, so stick with it for now. Another month of bad results however, and I’d gamble and remove him before we hit Xmas.

Just read P arkys comments yes hes done a good job but I am sick of hearing it he is paid to do a job and atm all I want is to see my team win some games surely that is not a lot to ask ! It is bloody demoralising atm watching my team lose week in week out and players not capable of having basic football skills.

1 win in 11, 5 goals scored can the club afford to keep him for the next four games, especially as we are on downward spiral. It would be a cruel end, but football is fickle, it is about results and the club need to start picking serious points up, especially at home

In the football world you're history at a club means nowt

Players can score loads of goals In one league but not achieve it in a higher so they get sold.

It's a business

Leicester sacked Ranieri after he delivered the biggest goal in their history

Not the best example given the circumstances but you know what I mean
