I can't watch any show she's on.

On Mock the Week you could almost see them getting ready to laugh no matter what she said.
Very brave to do what she is doing but just not funny.

correct, forget the point that she's quite tricky to understand, she's just not funny, at all.

To think, people pay good money to go an watch her live (I presume)

Probably not good news for pubs/restaurants.

I don't think it matters for them at this stage, they're not opening this side of Jan 1st no matter what happens

Are you not thinking they go back to open for food and drinks with main meal scenario? You think they will remain shut?

Be amazed if they get the R down below 1 then open up the pubs at the one time of year when every man and his dog will be wanting to go out.

Not happening.

We'll be back on lockdown by jan 1st.

Best we can hope for is families being told they can be together over christmas. Better than nothing.

Thats the only scenario I can see happening. This side of New Year anyway.

Me too

But I just can't see it unless the numbers drop massively. And I mean down to below 5,000 cases per day and deaths down below 100

Pub crawls where you can stand at the bar with your mates are gone until the vaccine lands.

Have to accept it

Absolutely agree. But as @leigh white taught me a cheese and tomato baguette can buy you enough time to drink yourself into oblivion.

in all seriousness I just want to go out have a meal and a few pints in various establishments and have some sort of Xmas celebrations
