Moon boy Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 One good piece of news, The Labour Party emerge from their cave tomorrow to find the World has made them irrelevant Will it be Starmer or Long Bailey? Expect loads of ‘we should have done this’ from the winner and calls of dirty tactics from the loser, should be a short distraction from the business in hand Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 A hangar is being prepared at salmsbury. Just as it was for the swine flu outbreak. Just in case of course, but it's a secure place to keep bodies. Quote

We're tracking on Italy - not sure how that is better than expected when you said we'd never see the sort of numbers Italy have? Last I saw our deaths were growing at a steeper rate than Italy's.... My guess, and it’s only a guess, is that they are short of drivers? The issue that I was highlighting was more to do with when the stock arrives at a hospital or community store. I used to work with Tissue Viability/Infection Control. They are the absolute nazis of the NHS and quite rightly so. In the current situation I guess (and again it’s only a guess as we currently aren’t allowed in there) that they will be being very stringent in what/who can enter the hospital. From what I’ve read and heard the virus lives quite a long time on cardboard so I would imagine that any boxes may have to be quarantined for a while thus creating a bottleneck. That and a number of other reasons Hope that helps clarify what I was saying Quote
