Jimmy krankie and the deputy CMO here saying lockdown to remain in place for a considerable amount of time yet up here. Read into that what you will

define considerable amount time

Im now becoming used to the idea we won’t be out til end of May at the earliest

Think we can expect the same in England then. Seems she been announcing what will happen before it’s announced here.

They’ve done wrong and can’t bring themselves to say sorry. The cocky wave at the end sums the arrogance of them.

Maybe they should apologise

Maybe thick as pig shit should've opened the door

Beats me

There'll be some who say why should he

I just think, open the door, answer the questions, let em do something useful

It’s the polices job here to justify their action and use of power of entry.

Being a nob isn’t an offence.

Who said hes done anything wrong

Just open the door, it's really not difficult

We don’t live in a police state, you don’t have to open the door. If they are entering, they have to ensure they have a power of entry and justify their action.

They left after using force to enter. It would appear they’ve acted unlawfully.

Yeah she’s privy to the cobra meetings and all that stuff so she’s just being a dick instead of waiting

Spain and Italy starting to lift restrictions, seems very risky

Same as what we will do. As lots have said this is a balance between saving lives and economic ruin until such time as a vaccine is found.
until that day we will go round in perpetual circles of lockdown and release I believe.

I would love to see the economic models that have been run at how bad things get week by week and when they forecast doomsday. If they Time this wrong or if the virus just gets a huge grip and we cannot come out the amount of people that will be in complete an utter financial ruin doesn’t bear thinking about.

that’s why I think what they are doing (albeit not perfectly) Seems sensible. But I’m just guessing what good looks like really we all are

is that how it works -

we have reason to search your premises as we believe a crime is taking place. Can we come in to check ?

No

Ok then, we're off now. have a nice day.

Could be, but their economies are starting to tank. I think it may be a bit early, and they're only partially lifting restrictions. We'll soon see what happens, I'm sure we'll be monitoring them very closely, and will either follow suit or stay locked down even longer, depending on what happens there

They can’t just search your premises. It’s quite simple, they have to lawfully justify their actions.

Powers of entry are detailed in PACE 1984.

If during an investigation, evidence is secured unlawfully, thereafter that evidence and the other evidence secured from it is deemed inadmissible.

Its quite simple, the police have to justify their actions and in this case the use of force.

Its South Yorkshire police, who have recently been chastised for telling a family they aren’t allowed to be in their front garden.

I reckon current measures will continue till end of the month then another review

the million dollar question will be what does loosening of them look like??

if folk think pubs are going to be opening I think they are far wrong. Maybe some more retail shops opening few more businesses factories etc but I think personally it’s going to be a long time before we are in the boozer or at a match

I hope I’m wrong

The fuck.

More shocking is that he was shagging Rebekah Ward for about 3 years as well.

Is agree that nothing much will be changing until the end of the month, as we've allegedly not even hit the "peak" yet, until numbers start to fall for several days running, nothing much will be changing

Yes if you go off Italy & Spain manufacturing & construction workers are meant to be going back this week

boozers & restaurants be last I think, which for me isn’t good, but it’s what it is

think may things will start to slowly move

Me & swanny have different opinions but I do think schools will be back June time

Haven't seen what Italy are doing, but Spain's loosening of their lockdown seems to be just doing what we're doing now.

14,506 tests today for those keeping score.
