I’ve already covered this with casino.

However, opening your door is a choice and not a requirement. Criminal law has a presumption of innocence and not guilt.

The video shows that the police have used force to gain entry, apparently to check on a gathering, there’s no gathering. He’s there alone. They then leave flippantly and arrogantly.

As he is in his own dwelling, the language he uses is more permissible. See section 4 public order act.

Regarding the new law, has it actually received royal ascent yet? I thought it’s due to come in force on the 24th of April. My understanding is that the power of entry extends to enter to remove someone who has tested positive for the virus. Quite clearly that didn’t happen.

The police follow the law and don’t make it up. When they go off on a tangent, that’s when cases collapse.

See, this is why I'll never be a fully paid up yoghurt knitter

I always feel the need to apply common sense

The law doesn't come into it while I'm making up my mind

I'd have him shot

What do we think of this, on first reading it does seem odd, conspiracy theory or is there some truth in this?

The coronavirus traveled all over the world from Wuhan China, but it did not reach Beijing or Shanghai or other major cities in China. Can anyone explain how is that possible?

There are so many questions, after all, where it all started, in China, the Chinese stock market did not collapse, but the American and European markets did, and when those markets collapsed, the Chinese bought a lot.

All roads lead back to China

1. They created a virus for which they already had an antidote.

2. They purposely spread the virus for financial gain.

3. There is a clear demonstration of efficiency to such an extent that they built hospitals in a few days. To build so many hospitals they had to be prepared with organized projects, for example, with the ordering of equipment, the hiring of labor, the water and sewerage network, the prefabricated building materials and the storage in an impressive volume.  Everything happened so fast that everyone was speechless.

4. They caused chaos in the world, beginning with Europe and the rest of the western worlds.

5. Quickly decimating the economies of dozens of countries.

6. Stop production and manufacturing lines in factories and primary production in dozens of countries.

7. Causing the stock markets to crash and then they bought stocks, bonds and companies at bargain prices.

8. They then quickly gained control of the epidemic in their country.  After all, they were ready and he was never really out of control.

9. In all this, they managed to lower the price of basic products, including the price of oil.

10. Now they are going back to mass production while the rest of the world is stopped.

Also note how quickly Chinese unions activated to "hoard" purchases of bus cargo to regional shopping centers across Australia, stripping our shelves of toilet paper and staple foods.

It happened before most of us knew what was happening, even before we knew what the Coronavirus was.

I reckon it's bollocks.

Go back to the very early pages of this thread. I said this was man made and designed as some form of weapon. If it was it’s been highly fucking successful I would say.

I think it's the lady officer who outlines their case.

A report of a gathering, which is now against the new law. Not sure about the royal ascent situation but they've already given out fines for breach of conditions, so it must be in effect.

The discussion about approach and behaviour can rage on as much as folk want, but for me, as others have said, bloke's a cunt looking for some fame.

Hence the use of 'glossed over' rather than 'covered up.'

Steejay questioned why it wasn't headlining, nobody's saying it's not being reported.

It's already happened elsewhere previously, and until the full facts have come in and they've managed to get a reporter down there, there's probably not a lot to say other than what has already been said.

Harsh reality now, but 13 dying in a care home sadly doesn't have the shock it once would. Maybe once they have investigated, and maybe got faces to names etc they may make it more of a feature.

I reckon China are a bunch of lying bastards. They know the world is on lockdown. They are happy to carry on and them who die are colatoral. I reckon they’ll be on huge death figures but don’t bother reporting it and anyone whistleblowing will soon disappear too

The numbers in this whole thing now have gone that way.

Deaths... Only 1000 a day

Aid.... Only 15% of gdp

Unemployed...

Step back and put them numbers to a non-corona situation and it would be mind boggling. Especially the state aid... That alone should highlight how serious the government are taking it. But still a minority of people out having bbqs in parks and taking the piss.

True, as long as we all know that Prince Charles, Tom Hanks and Kenny Dalglish are ok we'll be reet.

For what it's worth, Royal Ascent was given on 25th March.

Have the Tories admitted it, or have they blamed the NHS staff for misusing it?

Just for full disclosure, I’m a bit annoyed today as my cousins both work in the community for teams requiring PPE.  Both have been telling me for weeks that they have insufficient resources and are scared to do their job, as they have young families. One has today tested positive for Covid-19 and is the sole carer for her son.

and there was no gathering. Clearly. He also stated his reason for not opening the door. I think that’s reasonable.

If the police enter, they need to do so with a power, not on a fishing expedition.

A reasonable course of action for the police would be to listen at the door for such a gathering or even look through the windows.

He was in on his own, that’s a fact.

Cunt or not, the law is the law.

Really sorry to hear that re your cousin, hope all goes well for her.

Does seem to be a severe shortage in the community teams. The team who used to care for my dad spoke to my mum on saturday, they're severely short of PPE and basically shit scared now everytime they enter someone's house.
