Meanwhile in Ukraine

Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will chair an emergency meeting of the alliance’s 30 member states on Wednesday, officials confirmed. Poland requested a meeting on the basis of Article 4, which concerns the violation of a Nato state’s territorial integrity or security, rather than Article 5, which concerns a direct assault or act of war against a member state.

Too late. Daily fail saying Russian missiles killed 2 in Poland.

Probably some dodgy old US donated missiles landing in Poland

WW3 here we come.

The thing is a massive swathe of what Ukraine is fielding in this war is Russian made, too. It could well be a malfunctioning Russian fired missile that went off course or was blown off course by an anti missile system. But it could also be parts of that anti missile system fired by Ukraine.

For a news outlet particularly a sensationalist one to say it was Russian made is a no risk thing for them to say, it.doesnt explain who fired it or the circumstances for it landing in Polish border farmland though.

And it certainly doesn't herald WWIII.

Have they decided that Albanian migrants are to blame yet?

NATO and the Polish President have said it’s from a Ukraine missile but Zelensky is still blaming Russia. He’s doing himself no favours here.

Maybe not, but can't blame him for trying to get more action.

Let's be honest- if Russia hadn't invaded and lauched numerous missiles at Ukraine, then they wouldn't have to be firing anti missile defensive weapons in return.

Sure, but are we quite happy that Zelenskyy doesn’t have a nuclear button?

Interesting theory i heard

Weapons expert agrees it is a ukrainian SAM

But as a modern SAM  its only 25 Kton, the crater looks too big

His explanation....

Could be a SAM tabgled up in a Russian cruise

Who knows? Putin would like nothing better than to split the NATO allies relationship with Ukraine as so far it has been very unified.

Russia will just dig in, sit back and bomb the f*** out of Ukraine until there's nothing left. They don't even need to be in Ukraine to do it. With a diplomatic solution unlikely and the West insisting on Ukraine not taking the fight to the source or retaliating on Russian cities I'm struggling to see how Ukraine can end up as anything other than a no go buffer zone.

Where is the exit strategy?

Get your point, but if he did, would Russia have invaded in the first place?

Indeed it was Russia's agreement with others to protect Ukraine if it got rid of its nuclear weapons. That went well for them.

Can you check your explosive yield figures?

The atomic bombs dropped on Japan had a yield of 15-20 kt.

That would suggest your SAM is rather large.
