If I can find them, I'll dig out some photos I took in 1991. I also had a look at their air force numbers- a number of modern aircraft obviously, but not that many. Many others first introduced in the 80s. As the Russians spend basically the same per year on their armed forces as we do, then clearly if they want numbers, then quality won't necessarily be as high. Quote

Seems far fetched but not totally unbelievable. Same guy is saying the Russians were totally routed at an airport near Kiev and have lost nearly 3,000 troops (doubt that). Either way, they aren’t getting an easy ride. That wanker Putin has basically sent a load of innocent young lads to their death for his fucking ego. Quote
