Yep. Russia get to keep what they've got thus far. Zelensky told to get back in his box, and all US aide removed Quote

I do understand the nature of politics and the general tripe that all prospective leaders spout before an election. Focusing on one and ignoring another, then posting wild inaccuracies, says plenty. Nowack Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Trump is Trump and I don't think it will really be as bad as is being made out. If you follow the money with Vance though then it may be a different story if he takes over. Quote

There'll be fat flubberball protestors marching in the blue states with "Not my President" banners. Pissed or drugged up celebrities ranting about incest, paedophilia and electra complex. Imbeciles wanking on about the end of democracy and establishment of a fascist state. Then, in the weeks and months to come, Presidential pardons for Mr. Donald J. Trump from the President for all the trumped up (see what I did there?) dogshit 'charges' brought about through weaponising a judicial system. Even more delightful, the retribution for this which will surely follow. Entertainment plus. Hip pocket nerve. As usual they voted using it. Thankfully my fears of wokism playing a part have melted away. Let the fun begin. Projection personified. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 😂 if that speech is a starter pistol of what is to come then it's going to be another four years of loads of gibberish. Objectively it's quite funny. But away from this moment, it'll be really interesting to see the modelling after the dust has settled as to the voting data. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 As to give a prime example (even though he's Australian) a Trump 'supporter' like Bolty keeps saying Hip Pocket Nerve, when in actuality the US economy is doing really well. It's things that people who like Trump say without context as they've heard it elsewhere. It's emotionally based support, and on that Trump is brilliant at leveraging. Whether you think that makes for good leadership sort of depends of if you like facts or personality. Quote
Popular Post Ani Posted November 6, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 6, 2024 People dismissing Trump supporters as bonkers are missing the fact that over 50% of voters have voted for him. They are not all mad, a bit like over here the 'clever' one telling the 'thick' ones they are stupid is half the problem Remember the other side put up a man who could hardly speak and was clearly in decline and only swapped him out when he looked like getting beat. I am no Trump fan but blaming people who have voted him in without asking why ain't the answer Quote
