I'd not done a single LFT until two of my household had it last month. I did one every day for a couple of weeks during that time. 

Did one today, as did all my colleagues, before we met up for a Xmas lunch/dinner. Made perfect sense for us all to do one.

Been doing LFT every day for a couple of months now. Other half has to for work (not that it mattered, every show is shut) and then I do at the end of the day or before I go into town for a meeting.

Everyone should do for the next couple of months, each day if they are meeting people.

It's been bad in London, its going to rip through the rest of the country in a few weeks. Enjoy.

Ive just pulled out of a night out to Ribby Hall thats been planned for ages. We'd already lost 6 due to having actual covid.

We are meant to fly on Weds Night/Thurs morning so saw it as too much of a risk with a PCR test now required before we go. Then one 2 days before we leave and another when we get home. Madness.

1.6 people tested the other day and that is why the UK has produced record numbers of positives. Its probably a record number of tests.

If you feel ill or have been in contact with someone that is positive, do a LFT.

Its not rocket science.

My sister has just tested positive, she's already had covud once and had the booster a week ago. She picked it up at her school.

I drove though town last night, and it did seem very, very quiet  - this evening will be a big test, a couple of my mates have already said that they're staying in, as they can't afford to catch anything before Christmas

Mrs just went into town, everyone just walking very far apart and its dead quiet out there apparently. No black eyed friday this year.

My Mrs had her Christmas do in Manchester last night. Said it was dead and nowhere checked for the covid pass. 

Left her phone in the uber home as well the stupid cunt.

Have you phoned the driver. Left my laptop once, they dropped it off for me (for£50)

Now, I keep being bugged by test and trace, I've not seen anyone really and those who I did I've let know already. Do I need to do this?

One of the mighty unvaxxed at work extremely pissed off at having to isolate because the person he lives with is positive. Unpaid as well, Merry Xmas !

Spoke to someone in a shop today,  said its just scary quiet.

They were saying on the news that the Xmas spend was earlier than most years... leads you to think that some will just leave it now

Not sure if covered here but quite a bit of stuff recently about a typical virus life cycle - initial hit - second wave - big surge third wave. But after third wave the virus almost dies away/becomes less severe. 
 

So hope is that after this bump things get back to normal pretty quick (2-3 months)
