Slow day at work, so reflecting on last season. My lad wont kick a size 5 until preseason starts on 06 July. In the 25/26 season we've done well over 4000 miles in away games for his club and trials- add home games, training and county games... could be pushing 5000. He has trials with clubs in every division from Champions League to National League North. He's had rejections from most, offers from some and just ghosted by others. He's smashed it and told no, had a stinker and told yes... I have discovered nepotism is rife and disappointingly very close to home; I also know you need to keep going, that as one door closes another may open. He will take that lesson from this season if nothing else. This weekend is the first I have no football as a coach, parent or fan since June 2025. I am knackered- physically and mentally. I will post details of his next team when its all finalised... at that will be me done as a parent in kids football after 16 years with two of my kids.

Think that was read in to a bit too deeply. Was more of a reel about his 25/26 season imo
  6. I mentioned a beheading attempt by a white person. I never suggested it was for balance. I was pointing out that abhorrent crimes can be and are committed by all races. Not desperate, just factual.
  7. Course it is. It's more of an end product of a completely pissed society. Events like in Belfast are just a torch paper to the already heightened tensions. People are itching to kick off because of societal issues driven by mass migration and the growth in Islam. Hence when an isolated incident occurs it kicks off like fuck as its against a whole back drop of other issues and incidents. You reckon half of America rioted because they felt sorry for George Floyd? No, it was because that incident was indicative to an already massive problem.

If you are a billionaire you are a massive cunt. End of story
  9. Born & dragged up in Horwich. My, rather unevenhanded rivalry was always Stretford. Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, even Bury meant local but not overly negative. Citeh, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport meant f'call. Wigan came in & were immediately an important rival for me.

One of our lot currently away and Sheehan and Christie are there with their families. Christie doing some football camp each morning Said the club are keen and ACD willing to get a return done but waiting to see what Brighton decide…
  11. I keep thinking of this meme that people use to decide if these attackers are worth getting riled up about...

  14. Why was he on loan to a Charlton team who narrowly avoided relegation then?
  15. 🤣 Post away if your knowledge of lower league (non-prem) players is that good. Some folk like to over post about how good Wembley was…. …Others like to save their posts for telling us who is a good signing and who isn’t. Room for everyone on here 👍
  16. They thought Johnstone was certain to sign as well.
  17. This was up the hill from Ashley Bridge "Nothing travels faster than the speed of light with the possible exception of bad news, which obeys its own special laws." Quite relevant to this thread

It's one of those things about numbers. Once they go past a certain size - our brains can't really comprehend how big it is. The jump from a million to a billion is huge. The jump from a billion a trillion is mond blowing. Something has gone badly wrong with our system when one person can accumulate that much money - and millions of others are below the poverty line. I don't care what anybody says. It's sick.

  24. They all fall. Ours was slower but inevitable. Just read The Second Sleep by Robert Harris. A work of fiction but a worrying foresight into what could happen within days! Stock up on the tins of beans and water.
  25. Bigger fish to fry now and Huddersfield falling in to the trap they fell in to last season
  26. Utterly ridiculous isn't it! The ultimate in the sporting world and most stadiums are going to be like the Etihad.

  35. Me too and even better if we can go on to get promoted again the expectation of the likes of Bournemouth, Fulham and Brentford. 😁
  36. Kinell. Good clip that.
  37. Is that actually true? - I don't know either way, but I'd bet more murders/rapes are caused in this country by white people than by darkies
  38. He came across very well, I wouldn’t expect anything less from a former Royal though 💅🏻

Said that to LH ha ha I could sense Benty getting pissed off with him last week. He's deffo messaging Goldstein on the sly saying who the fuck is this cunt
  40. Strange that. The vast majority of them seem to be of a darker persuasion, yet we can't be critical because they are of a darker persuasion. Do you really belive that if we had had a mass influx of white folk of a particular ethnic/religious belief system that went around murdering and raping people, that others would be less concerned? Yet another example of deflecting from the facts.

Huddersfield sign Fletcher from Blackpool. They're absolutely obsessed with signing strikers. Like the bremuda triangle for forwards that gaff
  42. I get this, 100%, I do. You know I do, but... ...there has been non-Aslyum seekers trying to behead folk in the street ...there has been rafts of sexual assault and rape cases by white men and boys all over the country. ...there has been white grooming gangs across the country ...there has been British men wandering around with machetes ...there are loads of Brits also being housed all over the country in HMOs, Hotels and housing schemes putting strain on services. It's not solely down to migrants, but the cases involving migrants seem to attract far more publicity. Why is that?
  43. Well you do really. Good post mate, it must be to get the likes of Bolty and Bertie both to like it, that takes some doing, maybe even a first? All that you say above is true. But how did we happen to know about these things if someone doesn't tell us about them in the first place? Ok beheadings and Muslim grooming gangs are headline news, the rest less so. The last attempted beheading I heard about was that of Lee Rigby, that happened 12 years ago. No beheadings should happen at all but one every 12 years tends to suggest it is more to do with people being fucked up in their head than because they were asylum seekers - (the killers of Lee Rigby were both British born citizens as was the Southport killer of the little girls). Same with the Muslim grooming gangs - should never have happened but they did - not because the perpetrators were asylum seekers, they all were either British citizens or came to the UK legally, it seemed they happened because the authorities back then tended to see the girls as worthless slags. Ms Rowbotham made hundreds of referrals detailing the abuse and sexual grooming while working for the NHS in Rochdale between 2005 and 2011. She reported that girls as young as 13 were plied with drink and drugs, before men "passed them around" for sex. She later told the Home Affairs Select Committee that her bosses had ignored repeated warnings about the girls being groomed. Whistleblower who exposed Rochdale sex abuse ring gets MBE - BBC News A landmark 2020 independent assurance review into Greater Manchester Police's (GMP) 2004 Operation Augusta—which investigated the sexual grooming of looked-after children—concluded that authorities "fell short" of protecting vulnerable youth Institutional Failure: Many victims in the care of Manchester City Council were known to be subjected to abuse, but neither the police nor social services adequately protected them Operation Augusta - House of Commons Library I could go on but but what I am getting to is that although none of the stuff you highlight in your post should have happened, it did, not because the people who did them were immigrants (illegals or not), or Muslims, or ceremonial knife carrying Sikh's but because they are either mentally sick people or known about to the authorities and for whatever reasons, turned a blind eye towards. Rapes, murders, violent assaults, crime in general happen daily in our society and are carried out by all sorts of ethnic and religious groupings which aren't highlighted and targeted but those of the rubber dingy visitors and our Muslim friends are signalled out and politically exploited to enrage a certain section of the electorate by right wing leading political groups looking to exploit the populist voters. And to be fair they are doing an excellent job of doing so. The problems aren't going to go away when they are in power - the Conservatives and Labour between them have tried for the last 16 years to deal with these issues and recycling failed Tory Ministers (indeed Farage's current political right hand man, Robert Jenrick was the Cabinet Minister of State for Immigration in the last Tory government) isn't the answer. As always most people (including the illegals and/or Muslims) don't go around beheading, raping, child grooming etc, and even the small percentage that do (and yes, even those are far too many) the vast majority ARE NOT the illegals or Muslims - so ask yourself why the talk seems to be exclusively just about them? Could it all just be about a means to an end perhaps?
  44. Like going down on your sister; tastes the same, but isnt quite right
  45. David Hasselhoff performed at the fall of the Berlin Wall Maybe it's some sort of prisoner exchange
  46. So just ‘n’ Dave now then?
  47. Somebody tell me this is real…..please.
  48. Got to admire how the situation created by Trump is conveniently ignored when blaming labour for higher energy costs. Trump is busy winning the war for the (at least) 8th time this weekend yet somehow Starmer is the one responsible for the choke point in Hormuz. Doublethink at its absolute crankiest 🥳
