tomski
Been to a few Hamburg games and one was against St Pauli. It’s fair to say they aren’t mad on each other but the German police I saw that day looked like they’d graduated from Robocop school with all the tackle on. Take Hunt Off
Aye I went to that ‘friendly ‘ match , it’s fair to say Bolton had a few faces there that day , I went to the match with a Cologne bar owner .He felt a little intimidated even though there was no danger to him. I think the video in question occurred earlier in the day , as I recall a large German who was part of a group attacking a bar where Bolton fans were holed up charged into the bar & was promptly battered under the Gazebo. The fully padded Gendarmes watched on from a safe distance. Match ended 1-1 very appropriately Basham scored for us.

His daughter works in Hamburg and essentially St. Pauli are one fabulous club with a massive fan base and a unique way of working with their fans . The article below is a good read and I love one of the final quotes about mega rich sponsors ... If Qatar airlines comes calling we tell them to "fcuk off" https://www.newframe.com/st-pauli-a-football-club-like-no-other-in-the-world/ Have a read You have to be fucking joking. Well if you consider it's it's wierd to get rid of the far right extremist fans, be ethical about who invests in your club ( Sharon is careful who sponsors us ) and treat everyone with respect then I won't try to change your opinion. Have a lovely day

Yes, they are televised, and you should be able to get their games on dodgy channels. They livestreamed a friendly on youtube at the weekend, although Dapo wasn't in the squad. Peter Thompson was superb for us back in the 70s , Ricardo Gardner was great to watch in full flow before he became a left back . You don't see many traditional wingers these days, wing backs and wide midfielders are preferred, to the traditional wingers . We sold our best one to St. Pauli . Have a nice weekend
