Pompey are a very strong side and make it difficult for us to play flowing football, but that's no excuse for some of the awful passing and chance creation/finishing - although apart from Dion's miss, we haven't really had any chances of note.

GT stopped tracking his man but Bod should have attacked the ball.

They’re not a bad team and you can see why they are top of the league. They close down quickly and when they win the ball back they get forward quickly especially down our left.

Santos is used to having time on the ball and is struggling when they run at him. Slight tweaking by IE and it should come good. 3 points would be nice but I’ll take a point.

Williams - I just don't get it.   Consistently weak as said above, and poor body language.

Bod a pleasure to watch, how he controls some of those balls fired at him god knows.  If we are still losing will IE still make the usual 60+ min striker subs?

Pompey are the first team I've seen this season that don't look obviously "Div 3". They don't just cough up possession easily which is annoying, and they are strong.
