FrancisFogarty Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 As usual in this league referees are very poor. But to be fair they are crap for both sides. Another ref for this match could have had a good few bookings. Quote

Ref may have been shite, but another example of I'll discipline, and not just in the players. From the kick off the ref insisted it be re-taken, his stall was set. The penalty annoyed me - 2 players going for the ball collide in the air, 99% of the time a free kick is awarded to the keeper, but this prick wanted to be different and awarded Wycombe a spot kick, from which they scored in the 8th minute of the 6 mins of added time. I may be paranoid, but i’m convinced most referees fucking hate BWFC and will cock us up any chance they get. I’m really not keen on the officials at this level. Quote

radcliffe white Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 We have a right player in Collins just needs a run of games to get going Vic has had his chance in fact IE has been very patient with him, Charles isn’t ripping it up however you know he has it in his locker Bod oozes class and it’s nonsense that he can’t start games or that he’s best when defenders are worn out Quote
Biggish Dave Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Said it before, Bod is the best finisher we have and you can tell he's played at a higher level. I'd start him. 3 points, job done. Quote
onefinfrandsen Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 The young left back has great potential, some of those crosse’s especially from short corners with Morley were great to see. Quote
deeane Koontz Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Wins a win No problem with players having bad games even shockers but I'm struggling with Morley Doesn't even make himself available to recieve the ball half of the time 😩 Bod is a bit class Quote

Sheehan can spin quickly either way and pop that first time ball off. It doesn't help though when we take so long to decide who to give it to from those restarts. Half a dozen times last night Coleman had a blindingly obvious pass out on but stood around deliberating till the player he chose had a man right up his arse. Baxter's as guilty of it Quote

1969 Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Looking forward to seeing Collins and Sheehan playing together. With Sheehan's ability to pick a pass and Collins movement think it could be great watch Quote

Biggish Dave Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 I still reckon Morley would work better pushed further forward Quote

Seemed to be left to Dempsey last night and as much as I like the lad and his effort hes miles short on what Sheehan offers. Like said above his half turn and work with Collins will be the one. Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 This probably won't be a popular view, and I'm probably contradicting myself, but I'd still like to see Sheehan as the most forward midfielder, if he was working closer to Collins and Charles, in the final third, he could create loads for them. He also chipped in with one or two good goals from that area. My only reasoning is that, in L1, when opposing midfielders are allowed to plough through that receiver without censure, we'd be better with that player being more robust and able to withstand that clattering. Even City, more often than not, play that ball out to Rodri, who's a big physical specimen. I just think at times we're trying to play Pep's way but with too lightweight a squad against big rough opponents who are aided and abetted by piss poor refs Quote

Probably his best game for us and he scraped a 7/10. Bog average player as I’ve said a million times, now CMG is a flower waiting to bloom, he can be our line breaker, something Evatt predicted Maghoma would be but isn’t. Quote
DazBob Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Scraped a 7/10 Begrudging praise if ever i saw it. Quote

Thomason would have sailed through last night without a yellow for Saturday’s challenge.😀 Quote
