Thank fuck there isn't smell-a-vision.

After reading his Wikipedia page (unbelievable I know) this weirdo has been banned from several away grounds and even Fratton Park for spells. How the fuck does he get away with bringing a bugle and an old school bell into grounds?

It’s big this today. Season defining and I’m nervous

there’s been many examples over the past couple of years where the players have failed to turn up ‘when it matters’ but generally, they have been games that mattered to us, the fans.

today, this matters to everyone at every level. From the very top, to us, even the programme sellers outside.

of course there’s still another way of going up, but this will demonstrate to all what this team is about when it really matters. When things are riding on it. When it’s needed.

i pray to god they’ve got it in them

The more I think about it, I'm actually going to be worried about Shrewsbury if we happen to win today.

Derby fans doing that silly bounce thing when they beat us thinking it was job done. I really hope we don't fall into the same trap if we win today - especially if results elsewhere do go for us.

4 massive games ahead

Game at a time. Positive result today and then tues becomes just as big if not bigger then so does next sat. The margins are so small that we can’t look beyond anything or anyone

Today has the potential to be one of those memorable "stepping stone" days to a successful season. Like beating Bournemouth and Hull away late in 92/3, Ipswich at home in 01/2 (Bobic) and West Ham at home 1-0 with Jay Jay's screamer. I also remember a 1-2 win at Stoke that was a massive step to surviving a Prem season. More recently that late 0-1 win at Southend when Beevers scored in the last minute.

I just hope we've got it in us. They're obviously going to need the work-rate and passion but also high levels of concentration - and we don't always do that!

Any prospect of Orient nicking something at Derby? Unlikely but there are easier fixtures Derby could have today. We've seen for ourselves that Orient don't entirely meet the description of a flat-track for teams at the top.

Pointless opening south upper, suppose if you have a ticket no queuing at the bar

I don't know. I can see on the day sales filling south lower, and a few tickets have gone in south upper already. I'm pleasantly surprised at ticket sales tbh. Could be on for our highest attendance since the prem?

Absolutely.

Think if we win today, we'll win the lot.

Really tough today though.

That said, if we don't want it more than them, something is wrong.

They've got 4 goes to get a win, we can't afford any slip ups.

Great chance for Orient I reckon. They'll go at 'em at least. And a 72 hrs turnaround from derby's last game.....I'd rather be us today

Possibly, I’m thinking not much more than reading maybe 26k, difference that today there’s 3 blocks of segregation

Fuck me this is huge!

But as @barrycowdrill says I can’t shake off this let down we’ve had on big occasions this season…

Yes I can (hands over ears blocking out my internal negative thoughts). This is Bolton Wanderers, we produce big, special moments in promotion winning seasons and today is going to be one of them.

Let’s get the place banging, no excuses, have a few beers beforehand and get those vocal cords lubricated and make sure we do our bit 👏.

A first for us in Nam Ploy today, table for 10 booked at midday.

COYFWM 👏👏

@tomski thought you might appreciate some blue dots to start the morning! 🤣

Even if we sell no more in the South, it justifies our decision, we’ve got our own fans in there who wouldn’t have been there otherwise. One of ours just purchased, you can’t get two together anywhere else now.

Latter days of prem had a cut off at 27k didn’t it? Was that with this level of segregation?

Or would 26.5k see us sell out today? I reckon there’s a fair few of those going to go today.

Portsmouth twitter fans put in their place over ticket allocation - good to see. 👏

Good thing today is other areas are mostly sold usually on big games there’s still availability in top corners etc

28,353 is our record ever attendance, versus Leicester in 2003. I was there but have absolutely no idea how the segregation was... But for a lot of the premier league days it was similar to today i.e. split south stand upper and lower.

Given I've not seen an "over 25k" message on twitter I think we sell those south tickets and we'd be at 25.5 / 26k.

So I think there's actually still all the "hidden" seats in the other stands not available yet (obstructed view ones around all the stand entries). They'd probably only come available as last resort if we sell out the south.

Anyway, I think our record post prem is 25.5 so we could be topping it today, which would be amazing support.

As much as anything else, it shows we’re capable of shifting 23,000 home tickets even at £30 a chuck which has rarely been the case for us.

Been awake since 7 and still keep flipping between expecting a win and expecting a defeat. Such a big game it’s unreal. Great to be a part of, really.
