I do feel Evatt has created a team of yes men who won’t question anything and will simply toe the line. There isn’t a genuine captain in the entire squad.

Disappointing but don't get the wrist slashing.  Playing a £30m team away from home without our best keeper, a RWB at RCB and our captain/key midfielder.  McAtee puts the first chance away and we get a draw. 

Things need to improve, we're not in top form.  Last season's play off cock up means we've had 4 weeks less rest and 4 weeks less to prepare this summer.   We will improve.  Chances need to be taken and we need to get on top of why players keep getting injured.

And what has happenned to aaron collins?    Could slag every one of em tonight for their performances,   maybe Johnston and possibly cogley did OK in the 2nd half,  so far from scapegoating

Not overly arsed which two start, but I'm beginning to think they need more than a game or two consecutively.

I like what Collins can bring- a bit of flair and something a bit different. 

Last season it took him a little while to get going- folk were typically calling him shit, not a footballer etc- but he settled, got some games and scored goals.

vs teams above the bottom 6 - P6 W1 D1 L4 (the win being Reading the week their takeover collapsed)

call me a cynic, but I'm not seeing the improvement from last year.

He goes on about how much gets asked of the 3 CBs, covering large spaces, often in 1v1 situations. But they aren’t good enough. Yes there’s times when a team needs to be more conservative and compact. But tonight he’s tried that and still looked absolutely shambolic. Non of them can do the very job he’s asking them to do but he persists with it. Wasn’t Santos’ worst game by any stretch of the imagination but fuck me he looks like a Labrador just coming round from an anaesthetic. Lumbering around without a fucking clue what’s around him.

I can answer the last part.......Why do players keep getting injured?

We recruit players with terrible injury to game records.......Baxter, Firino, Desmond, Gomes  and even Dempsey came to us having long periods out injured

It’s clear to me that there’s no way back. Its ran its course and we’re simply avoiding the Ian Evatt able. 

Im not wrist-slashing or jumping to extremes because we’ve lost, just being realistic.

We’ve had one good performance this season  so far. It’s clear it’s time to go, the mans ran out of ideas and can’t fix it. It’s best for everyone if he goes now.

We need to move on now for everyone’s sake.

Players especially forwards thrive on getting that shirt and getting goals, by nature they are greedy they will only get better knowing they have to do well to keep the shirt.
