This is the part that's so frustrating it's been like this for 4 years... and people are still suprised by how rubbish we are aginst peers.

This team the way it plays etc are an illusion. The same reason it looks amazing vs Stevenage is the same reason we look as poor as we do today. You can't do that and gain promotion.

Watched  Stockport  midweek taken apart by Wycombe who to be fair were the best team I have seen this season in this league 

Was a bit apprehensive about a positive reaction from them after the home stuffing . So it was one of those games where we needed to get on the front foot early in terms of their morale after being hammered .

Very opposite approach cautious back peddling, under pressure from long balls & failure to get out of our own half with shitty two yard passing & no forward outlet.

All predictable really & that’s the problem , reluctantly I think Evatt is now a busted flush .

How any potential successor can succeed with these players I’m not sure but fresh thinking / tactics are required asap.

Yes.

I think we have a lot of talent in the squad but worry that it isn't balanced.

For instance, we've no option to play one up top, someone who can occupy a couple of defenders and win the ball when it's played long.

Think it's an option we need at times.

playing two in midfield is in no players DNA

Granted most players are now comfortable playing with two wing backs, but every player can adapt to any formation out there be it 4/4/2   4/3/3   5/3/2 but never ever a 5/2/3

What training do they need they should know their jobs by now and if you or Evatt expect people to believe the whole squad suffered from illness then you’re more soft than he is. We’ve unfortunately got rid of any wingers in the squad as well as anyone who can win a header up front. Which then has us playing those shitty yard passes around our goal as if we punt it up it just comes straight back. 
 

Vic should have of been out the door as soon as an offer with money came in and the moment spent on a target man who lets us get up the pitch when teams press high.

The right things are in their DNA though it’s just Evatt that tries to force his DNA onto them. Another manager might just appreciate the skills and abilities they have and let them use them?

The B team has no use whatsoever apart from the odd occasion one of the first team squad comes back from injury and gets mins in a B team game.

We have been down to our bare bones the last few weeks and two got promoted into the first team, but in reality Evatt was never going to put them on....Rather put round pegs in square holes than play someone who plays for the B team

I admire all of those of you who have progressed to the stage of being able to analyse squad depth and DNA.

I'm still at the stage of being stunned and disgusted by a scoreline of Stockport 5 Bolton 0 - heaped on other recent similar embarrassments. 

A line has to be drawn now. If we want to talk about DNA, this type of abysmal and cowardly surrender is not the DNA of Bolton Wanderers. 

As our flimsy ship was being capsized once more by neighbours yesterday, we picked up not one single booking. That speaks volumes to me. They couldn't give a shit and don't deserve the hugely impressive support they are getting from the people of the town.

Stockport, Wigan, Blackpool and the like do give a shit. We are marked in red on their fixture list from the day they're published in June. That's why they "do" us every time. Attitude. Blackpool are in poor form just now but they'll battle like hell when they come up against us in a fortnight.

Getting rid of those three is not the answer, yes they are not good enough and should be on the bench at best, but it is the manager and the way he sets up his team that is at fault.

We by all accounts got over run by Walsall last week and he then repeats his tactics.

Yesterday before we conceded the first goal anyone could see how the game was going.........Baxter made three good saves before they went one up yet he carries on oblivious to how the game would end up...........He is inept

Be interesting to see what team he picks against fleetwood in the Mickey Mouse cup all these. Players on there death bed only days ago will be made to go again or does he bin it once and for all play the kids and risk 3 defeats on the bounce

Correct Paul. 55 years watching Bolton, that yesterday was up there as one of the most embarrassing defeats ive seen. Anyone still backing Evatt wants sectioning!

Woke up this morning hopefully thinking ah well we lost move on but I can’t it was a disgrace yesterday weak as piss performance by all of them and Evatt comments after the game for gods sake take a look in the mirror and walk away which he won’t !!
