We need to move the ball quicker through the lines, we’re happy to have it the back but fuck around and end up under pressure. It’s gotta go forward much quicker.

Randalls tried to get on the ball. Mcatee’s had zero service whatsoever but Collins looks miles off it. Everytime he’s touched the ball he’s lost it or give it away. 
 

I wonder how mendes gomes would do for Randall?

 Farrino hacking balls away in to touch or back to Wigan with 0 composure and awareness, just get rid at all costs, like the ball is a bomb and will go off if he has more than 1 touch or Wigan show any kind of press on him, abysmal distribution and also positioned himself poorly for a Wigan free header.

Johnstone did well when forward to get a yellow card out of a Wigan player but I really dislike how when he's in our half, he kicks it high and long just for an opponent to casually head it down to his teammate who's not being pressed and so possession gets turnedover, it's anti-football, shocking half, not a bad effort from Sheehan.

No connection between midfield and the forwards + giving the ball away and getting caught in possession + occasionally shaky at the back = shitshow.

CMG might help but SS should be roasting their balls on a griddle at HT and making subs. Only saving grace is that Wigan are as bad as we are.

I agree, but they are evatts players. But I don't see much brand SS apart from the brum game

It's been like this for the last few games we had some momentum under JD this carried on for SS first few games in charge but it's all disappeared now not impressed

Time we stopped this Evatts players stuff for me. SS has had these players since January and it’s April now and there’s no difference in style or pattern of play, still sideways and backwards. Time Schu took responsibility for what’s happening and we stop giving him an excuse. These players are better than this but not showing it.

I think that's reasonable to an extent, but it is also true that until we lost the three on the trot, there was a marked improvement.

Not sure what has happened, but it confirms a bit of a weakness of character for me, rather than an ability issue.

Could have been the new manager bounce as worn of and they have just gone back to playing as well as they did under evatt . We saw a up turn under jules
