Last time we played 'em away, outplayed them, their keeper had a worldie performance but won with an o.g, and a shocking red card from them,

Don’t even remember that

Tough draw.

A ground Ive not done, so I’m tempted.

TNT do a decent coverage of the draw at these non-league grounds pre the Monday night game, that Lass is a good-un.

Good chance of being on telly. Christ only knows what that does for the scheduling.

Dunno

There's 8 games with non league teams in which I'm sure would be ahead of us in the list

I watched it in a bar in Magaluf, rough as fuck on a stag do. Early kick off, too. Was literally the only person in there.

I'd forgotten all about that, but it was a massive result in our promotion season.  We'd just gone 7 games in L1 without a win and hadn't scored in the last 4, including that infamous defeat at Rochdale.  Hence very few in the away end.  I was on a foreign holiday and when I heard we'd finally scored a goal, celebrated it like we'd won promotion.  That was the first of 9 wins in 10 games.

That run from Ameobi to set up Proctor, I loved watching him glide through defences when he was at it.

Pretty shite draw. At least Mansfield (who we play in the league on the Tuesday after) have also got a League 2 side away in the form of Accrington who will hopefully kick the shit out of them.

I am sure Carlisle are chuffed with Blackpool away. Be a lively do.

With L1 and L2 having a full set of fixtures on that Tuesday, any ties switched to Sunday will probably have league games moved to Wednesday.  And there will be a lot of weakened teams in the cup with a league game 3 days later which wasn't a factor in the 1st round.

Re Carlisle, their win at Reading has to be one of the all time cup comebacks, 2 down in the 93rd minute, then the sub scores a hat-trick!  Great reward with effectively a local derby by their standards.

Went there for the League Cup semi final yonks ago.

One of the worst views of a football match I've ever had. I only remember the Baseball Ground, in the FA cup being worse.

That's what we took last time.

iirc we watched the rugby grand final in a pub in Swindon after the game.

winnable tie, then hopefully Everton away round 3.
