royal white Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Is there anybody hoping we drop out of the play offs? Quote

Basically did the opposite of this. A massive gulf between the top two and the rest of the playoffs. We're very lucky that lad at Plymouth decided to play volleyball in his own box. Quote

Arrested development Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Draw a line, move onto Tuesday. It was shite but let's not over react. We're going to be in the playoffs. Be nice to finish 3rd or 4th but as long as we are in that's all that matters. Quote

Eddie Posted April 11 Posted April 11 1 minute ago, royal white said: Is there anybody hoping we drop out of the play offs? Why the fuck would you hope that? We beat Plymouth away with 10 men last week. We should have beaten Stockport at home. We had 5 first team players missing today. We were shit, no doubt about it, but the hotel is booked for Wembley and I can’t wait to get stuck into them. Quote

I would take the table as it stands now play Stockport over 2 legs then Stevenage at Wembley but we would probably put 5 past Stevenage on Tuesday then loose at Wembley 🙄 Edited April 11 by Farnywhite Quote

Kane57 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 If we go up - rebuild of all rebuilds. We'd need a dozen new players at least. If we don't go up then he should be sacked. Quote
Walkden White Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Disappointing day and it may be we were affected by the illnesses more than we realised. Still some strange managerial decisions though. The playoffs are a lottery to a certain extent but good management can make a difference as we found out against Oxford. With this in mind, of the likely playoff contenders I’d place SS third behind Challinor and Alexander. What does anyone else think? Quote

We're also miles off being promotion ready Anyone thinking we go into a championship season (feels daft saying it at the moment) with this set of players is very misguided. We’ve changed the majority of our starting line up twice in the space of the season without changing any league. If we go up we will have 2 or 3 of the same players - nobody goes up promotion ready. bwfc4ife Posted April 11 Posted April 11 To be fair it was a massive salvage job following Evatt, if we don’t make it this year I’d give him another season and fully expect autos next year as a minimum Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Fair play to Cardiff, their workrate/ closing down was very good. Had their finishing been better they would have been out of sight at half time. Quote
CumbrianWhite Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Gale is looking like more money wasted. Our recruitment for players we’ve paid for over the last 4/5 years has been dreadful. Quote

It's the way we go about it By and large, we sign potential and gamble on players with poor injury records and so far it hasn't worked Quote
