We defend and play like we did last game then we are through.

For me, this is our 5th game against them and they are a solid but very basic team. We have conceded just 1 goal to them in 4 games this season.

I don't think there's anything new they can add to their game. The only way we will concede 2 goals or so is if we fuck up which we are prone to doing.

I'd like to think the introduction of Erhahon on that left side of the midfield with Johnno rather than Conway at LB can help bring us back to how our defence was before he got injured.

I don't think its a coincidence that he comes back and we get our 1st clean sheet in forever.

He's going to be pivotal landing on those 2nd balls in midfield.

Corners, long throws, 2nd balls from long punts up the pitch, that's their game. They haven't got the personnel to play like we do but they make it up in other ways.

I'd like to think we've got the personnel to combat this now.

For me, as much as we talk about ACD & Cissoko, Forino and Erhahon in particular are going to be pivotal should we get over the line.

Let's be confident. We know we are the better team head to head.

COYWM.

For the last game at theirs Sarcevic, Wright and Pointon, arguably their best 3 attacking options were not playing so unfortunately they may have something different to come. They also can not be as passive surely as they were in both those games.

My biggest worry is that in both the recent games they finished strongly and put us under pressure, if they start like that it will be tough, but it should mean more time and space for our forwards.

Just been a torrential hail storm over here and Virgin Media’s TV signal is not working ! So currently no way to watch the game unless it gets sorted

I keep seeing 4 games against them mentioned, in one of those we had Miller in net and Will Forrester at centre half. Not sure how relevant that will be. If we're including EFL Trophy games we've lost home and away to Port Vale this season.

So it's three games - two draws and a win for us. Two goals scored, one conceded. That seems a fair reflection of the state of the two teams.

They're obviously not shit - they finished above us and have the best home record outside the top two. If we go there and get a result tonight we haven't just knocked over some limited cloggers, it'll be an outstanding result and worthy of being celebrated.

Similar. Although train from Newton and spending the afternoon in Halifax.

My son's getting picked up at Newton station (train from Liverpool where he lives/works), there's only 2 of them going, plenty room in car for you and 1 or 2 others 😀

They're meeting my brother and nephew who are travelling from Lincoln.

All roads lead to Bradford.

Exactly.  No disrespect but I think some are mentioning the EFL Trophy game trying to convince themselves it makes a difference.  As you say - Port Vale, also the freakish score at Oldham - and Swindon come to that.  If we were playing Swindon tonight in the play offs we wouldn't be saying no point bothering, they're clearly streets ahead of us.

Bradford have shown they're a good solid team in all 3 games, but not outstanding by any stretch.  And neither are we, but if we're at our best (and the ref is), we'll get past them tonight.

What is the correct time to start drinking today ?

Timing is crucial , too early and unconscious for the game , too late and not pissed enough to celebrate/drown sorrows.

This is like being at cricket or in the airport lounge......it's acceptable whenever.

Bradford are a solid hard working League 1 team that finished above us in the League.

It is a tough game tonight but all season it has been clear that any team in this league can beat any other (except Lincoln)

Judging Bradford and including the EFL game is daft. I would argue including Saturday is mis leading as all their supporters seemed to be saying ‘come back in touch and it is a decent result’ . They have done that. It is advantage us but fuck me is nerve racking.

There is no accurate time, but the logical approach is to start at the earliest opportunity unless you have a Time Machine. No one needs to be catching up late in the day.

I think a few might have started before that for the home leg...

Not sure that data applies to Kestrel Super / Hofmeister / Westons Vintage or DIPA

Fucking hell they don’t half do rain differently here. Piss wet through.

Sun came out the moment we stepped off the train and I’m now sat outside with a Vocation pint in the sun - I’m taking it as a sign.

3-1 whites.

You did well. First started spotting with rain as soon as we got off the train at Halifax and then an absolute deluge of hail and rain. Vocation tap room is our next stop funnily enough.

Looking at the forecast it should clear by kickoff although there will be a few more spells of torrential rain before then

5pm has never felt further away.

God I hope the M62 is playing ball tonight.

M62 is closed later I think with quite a long diversion. The alternative would be to head towards Keighley after the game then onto Colne and pick up the M65. No idea which will be best.
