The EDL was set up after troops returning from Afghanistan were abused by 'stop the war' activists, the majority are presumed to be muslim. I mknow political activists and thugs from all walks of life have infiltrated the EDL and their aim is to cause mayhem, but this happens in any demonstration (remember the poll tax riots) I, and I am sure there are a lot off here, welcome the multi cultural society we live in, but, those that choose to live in our society should live by the same laws and rules as everyone else, which is British law. IMO

You're on a plane with your family and on one side there is a Oirish Catholic and the other a Muslim. Both have rucksacks. You know full well which one you're instantly aware of, so dont be fucking kidding yourself otherwise. It does not make you a bad man. Its also the reason airport security spend more time looking at them than us. Lets just admit it and move on. But dont point and say 'huurrr, racist honky dared speak the truth' with some fucking holier than though bedwetters attitude.

There'll be another terrorist atrocity in this country sooner or later, and my money would be on a white British male committing it. It will be Islamic extremists behind it, but they will have recruited a white British male to do it. Just my opinion.

Winchester White Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I agree, sure it wasn't posted quite right but the fact remains that in recent times the major terrorist threat to these shores come from muslim extremists. There is also a threat from those opposing the power sharing in NI but nothing like the scale of before. During the bad times in Ireland the security forces profiled folk just like they do now only then it was the Irish race, now it is those following the muslim religion. As for the EDL, it was probably set up with good intentions after the scum that protested against the troops in Luton but has obviously been infiltrated by knuckle dragging racist idiots. Having said that, that Dads Army song doesn't show them in a good light IMO.
