Torrents are your friends. Don't bother though, some of them die - ie not IMMORTAL

That could possibly be true but in order to have seen it it must be released somewhere in the world.

Its world premiere is tomorrow. Nobody like a tall tale teller.

You'll be telling me next you have seen the new 'Batman' film......

Panic Button Tonight.

Started off so well, belting idea (stop putting your life on the internet as its there forever) which tailed off to the end.

Its a low budget British thiller/horror and I normally quite like the low budget stuff as what they lack in money they have to make up with decent writing. It seemed like they ran out of time by the end.

It gets 5/10 on IMDB - thats about right.

Also...... With Christmas round the corner today has been the release of everyones standup DVD's, one of my favourite parts of Christmas.

Tonight I gave Russell Kane a whirl. Never heard of him and after 15 minutes without a snigger he got fucked off.

Pal of mine is a projectionist, and so gets the bad boys in nice and early. Can put you in touch if you like.

Me? No, I'm fine thanks.

Baz might want his number though, Aldridge.

Anyway, it's shit.

Programme you can get on itunes called 'How Did This Get Made?' and they go through all-time shit films and take the piss - this week's one was Nicolas Cage's version of Wicker Man, so am going to watch that tonight. Expecting a car crash.

Projectionist where? Having worked at a cinema in the past, I will confirm that they take receipt of the print a couple of days (maximum) before the film is due to be screened. There is a test screening ran on an empty screen the night before a film is to be released to ensure that it is in full working order. The print is in a sealed box and cannot be removed prior to this, which is an anti-piracy measure. Any screener that you receive is a watermarked release to critics and awarding bodies to review the film prior to release and leaks are becoming more infrequent. You claimed to have seen the film a good while before general release, when in reality, no one will have had a copy of that so early. Digital screening work in exactly the same manner re: delivery of the film to the cinema.

At the cinema in which I worked (about 10 years ago), prints were generally received a week in advance, I was responsible for the receipt of them. I remember watching the first Raimi Spider-Man a fortnight before release, as it was delivered early and under a false name. This was a common trick pulled as another anti-piracy measure though this was in the days before torrents and internet piracy were as prevalent as today.

I assume that in the case of the Immortals that someone has used this method and then taped the test run, but not being that person I am working on assumptions. Anyway, it's shit.

Dont be coming on here questioning Frankie boys credentials with your facts.

FWIW, Frankie is digging a deeper hole with every post. What a load of old bollocks.
