Bigtoe
For large parts of games, he's been the only one putting ANY effort in. Without NRC we'd be on 20 odd points. He can walk for me, it's a short career, why waste it. Thats where I'm coming from Played well for us, and he can walk with his head held high He's realised he's surrounded by a bunch of chokers being led by Captain Mainwaring
jayjayoghani
He'll go if he gets a decent offer. He's effectively available as part of a deal we agreed to. If you had the chance to play at a higher level and probably, for more money, why would you turn it down? He's no loyalty, he's only been here for about 9 months, why should he? Give him a break - I suspect worse is to come. I reckon Mark Davies' agent is already working on his 'my lad needs Premier League football' pitch. Chungy's rep too, you'd imagine. Aye. he's played most of his career in the top league. He's 28, in his prime. Are people surprised by this? Pottsy
a story from the mail. lets at least hear some facts and quotes at least. I'm still laughing at that one
Pottsy
The Mail is a good source for Bolton News, it will be correct. And that's even funnier

I reckon Mark Davies' agent is already working on his 'my lad needs Premier League football' pitch. Chungy's rep too, you'd imagine. It's how agents justify what they take. I'd be surprised if most of them weren't out there putting out feelers to see if they can't get a better deal for their man elsewhere. Don't expect Reo-Coker will exercise the clause unless he's got another deal set up. We need some legs in midfield more than ever. I would be very pleasantly surprised if Holden came back at the beginning of next season on full throttle.

Eddie
Agree 100% He owes us nothing. He owes it to himself to make the most of a short career whilst he can. Exactly, if the rest of the team had put half the effort in that he has then we would not have been relegated. Always gave his all and did everything, including playing through injuries to be on the pitch. To slag him off due to some unconfirmed reports that he doesn't want to waste his career playing in a league below his capabilities is daft. Ghana White
Let him go. No ill feeling from me. He probably fell for a load of spin about us pushing on up the league and having a big plan, I know I did. He gave a lot more then most and he doesn't want to play in the championship I don't blame him.

Site Supporter Spider Posted May 15, 2012 Site Supporter Share Posted May 15, 2012 Not remotely arsed I can't believe people still think loyalty exists like it once did The chap has done his best and probably said from the outset that he'd leave if we went down. It's just not worth getting worked up about it. I wish him well. Business is business.
THunter
If that clause is in his contract he's entitled to use it. I wasn't convinced by him, but he always gave 100% while he was wearing the shirt. That'll do for me. He'll probably end up with Pardew at Newcastle.

mickbrown
It illustrates just how shite we've been this season if Reo Coker is considered by many to be our player of the year.

radcliffe white
Fuck him and any other who does not want to put the white shirt on. We are going to have to roll our sleeves up and dig in to get out of the championship so any others step forward and fuck off.
Dodgywheel
No surprise, playing football is just another job. Wouldn't expect him to behave any different than anyone else would under the same circumstances in their job.
tylswhite
The speed at which he has deserted the sinking ship is what has fucked me off, like he couldnt wait to get out the fucking door. I hope in his first game for his new club he gets his legs smashed in.

He's not quoted anywhere saying "Fuck Bolton". If he leaves, he leaves. I'm not sure how it makes him a cunt. Most'd probably do it if they could.
