They've worn it in every round of the FA Cup this season, they only made 1,976 replicas and they're having a few events to commemorate the cup win. Fairly amazing that they've got to the semi final as a 2nd tier club again 50 years later. And Arsenal were crap which helped. Kind of like us with our 1923 kit which only had 1,923 made Though we got knocked out in the first round so it was a short lived experience Quote

As long as we go up, this is fine 😊😉 Along the same lines, being positive that we can get up this season, I’d like those bigger clubs to tumble, Sheffield Wed, Leicester, West Brom would be perfect. However, in true football fan contradiction, I cannot bring myself to be happy looking out for a Blackburn win today! 😂 Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I had missed that Barry Bannan left crisis club Sheff Wed in January after 477 league games for them. He joined, now 2nd in the table Millwall. What a pity we kept Lennon as manager and not him as a player. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Great to see the Hollywood boys getting a good stuffing. Hopefully Southampton will pip them to 6th play off place. Quote

DazBob Posted April 9 Posted April 9 I just can't imagine McCoist ever being in a bad mood. So much nicer listening to him commentating on a game rather than Dixon (and Matterface) who makes it sound like it's an absolute chore. Quote

Dixon always sounds like he's just been dragged out of a pub and he really doesn't want to be there Bit like Lawrenson was And if you are co-commentating with Fletch, is it written into your contract that you are only allowed to refer to him as Fletch? I cannot stand the way Matterface puts the emphasis on the players name whenever there is a shot ”… and it comes to HARRY KANE” The one shot in 30 where it goes in it works. The other 29 that are blocked, saved, go wide etc. it sounds awful and he ends up just backing out of it part way through the surname. Probably just me but it really winds me up. Quote
