Rembrandt Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 If people think us and Wigan was tasty wait till we play these I was there for the tie in 60 or 61. Big crowd for the Gigg, if I remember. We scored early but left with a draw. Quote

Wasn't there 30 odd thousand on when we played them at Burnden in the 60s. Also saw a post think it was Bolty that Bury train staton got trashed when we played them in the late 60s. Our recent record against them isn't that good and I wouldn't fancy us to beat them now. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) Remember a Friday night league match at Gigg Lane when there was over 21000 on; we lost 2-1 and there was more Bolton than Bury on Looked it up 1968/1969 Fri 07 Mar Bury 2 - 1 Bolton Wanderers League Edited December 6, 2015 by RUREADY2ROLL Quote
