Mounts Kipper Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Mounts, I have to seriously question your judgement if you think Trump is honest. I mean it beggars belief how many people he has trodden on to make his fortune. Has anyone not got that John Oliver US programme about Trump - watch that and see what you think then. I've said Trump isn't a great choice but for me Clinton and the status quo isn't what the US needs, it might be we put up with 1 term of Clinton and then the republicans can find a decent candidate. bolton va va Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Trump is clearly a complete dick......i have him down as the pub bullshitter full of piss & wind......but if he was elected, my feeling is that the government officials would easily have him under control. Clinton on the other hand comes over as a really nasty piece of work..(with a thick, nasty piece of work husband ), dishonest & power hungry to the point of being unprincipled. Does anybody know what she actually stands for apart from getting herself elected ? I think Clinton is more dangerous than Trump, but the biggest question should be how is it that a country with the USA's resources has finished up with a choice between these two bellends. Quote

I agree with this, it's a real shame a decent republican candidate wasn't selected. Quote
birch-chorley Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) As much as I disagree with Moubts on this the fact is he isn't alone with his opinion, in fact it's looking scarily tight over the pond It seems that if something or someone isn't part of the political establishment then they are classed as straight talking and automatically seem to appeal to a mass number of voters We're seeing the same over here with votes such as BREXIT, Corbyn winning the leadership again etc etc Crazy really, I'd rather go with establishment over something else just because it's something else I bet Fred West could have talked as straight as anyone but would you want him running the country? Would you fuck Edited November 2, 2016 by birch-chorley Quote
Sweep Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Trump is a sociopath, how the fuck he got the nomination is beyond me. Quote

Let's also be quite clear Clinton is corrupt and more interested in herself than anything else I hope she ends up in clink with her bent husband, good chance if the US vote Trump in. Quote

Grim. If either of them were up against somebody half decent, they would have been blown away by now Edited November 2, 2016 by Sweep Quote

He is dangerous and it beats me how any sane person can consider him fit to be President Quote
Sweep Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 It will be interesting, if he gets in, to see exactly how he will get Mexico to pay for this wall Quote

frank_spencer Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 As far as I can tell she's no more corrupt than any other career politician. Trumps chances of winning rely on the left voting for a third party candidate or writing in Berne Sanders name. Rather than hillary. Quote

tyldesley_white Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Also I believe Trump as 2 court case against him for fraud, I believe to be heard in November, and a rape case to be heard in December, As far as Clinton, the GOP have spent 30 years trying to pin something on her and all they got is email, which they found by accident will fishing on Benghazi, on a side note over her email server she did exactly the same as the pervious two secretary of state had done which surprise, surprise where both republican Quote
birch-chorley Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/4293469I think this quote sums it up nicely for me..... "Barack Obama wasn’t clearly corrupt until he became President; if the public had known back then that he’s corrupt, John McCain might have beaten him," So Obama is also corrupt, if Hillary is as 'corrupt' as Obama then that will do me just nicely thank you Also, everything in that article seems to talk about her political leaning being more to the right than a standard Democratic position. Everyone has a right to an opinion on policy, including Hillary. I'm not sure we can call this corrupt can we? Surely not Is Teresa May corrupt as she talked about parking the tanks on the centre ground? Corrupt bitch Edited November 3, 2016 by birch-chorley Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Neither of them are even remotely presidential. Standing on stage like a couple of kids bitching. Can only benefit minority parties, albeit not much. Quote
DirtySanchez Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 And an even worse business person than Paris Hilton. I read an article saying she'd done better with her inheritance than Trump has with his. Not to mention his three casinos that went bankrupt in Atlantic city And his wife is an immigrant. I wonder how he squares that one Quote
Maggie Tate Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Awful choice. I hope she loses. Trump won't be able to enact any of his promises and will be such a failure that his brand of candidate will never be successful again and everyone will reflect on a crazy few years. She will also fail, possibly even more miserably, which will put in disarray the entire system of which she is a product. I would vote Trump in expectations of his failure, understanding that the American system is designed to stop maniacs doing what they like, to kill his type for good and encourage the kind of thinking about what it is that's wrong with a system that produced these two candidates. bgoefc Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Meanwhile as an aside the only Baseball team with a "proper" stadium has won the title (I refuse to use the term world series) after over 100 years in the wilderness. I hope Trump wins. Maggie is correct in his view that the mop head will fail in office. Quote
