MalcolmW Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Thing is. If he does he's in for a shock if he thinks he'll be running the place. It'll be the same as America always is. But he has a habit of diverting from his intended speeches, so he could say almost anything anytime. Quote
Spider Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 My theory is that Trump doesn't really want the presidency. Since the beginning he's been trying so hard not to win, he might just win. I'm getting loads of bottled water, tinned food, curly wurlys and porn mags in. This with dong dong merrily on high bells on. Think Boris & Brexit... Quote
bolty58 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Well, for starters, he is a protectionist which would not augur well for future UK or Australian trading with the US. Secondly, I asked previously who would want the mad buggers finger on the button of nuclear oblivion. Thirdly, the one thing I like about him is the lack of political correctness. The scourge of this era. Not quite sure where I said I wanted him to win. He just might though - there's a lot of absolute zoons over there. The alternative is the lesser of two evils but the Clinton dynasty is as corrupt as fuck and I can't fucking stand either him or her. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I would have like to see Trump stand down and his running mate stand as I don't want Clinton in charge. One thing about DT he's exposed The Clintons for what they are it's a shame DT is unelectable but I must say at least he's made the normally long and boring US presidency campaign very watchable. Quote
tyldesley_white Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 What thing as he exposed, all he's done his throw shit around without any facts behind them. Quote
kent_white Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Win or lose - DT has damaged the American democratic process. The growth of conspiracy theories and an increasing lack of trust and respect for the institutions which help to make places like the UK and the US functional places to live are undermining our way of life more than terrorism ever has done IMHO. DT has fed this way of thinking throughout his campaign - whether that's him talking about Obama's birthplace, vaccines causing autism, climate change being a hoax, the electoral system being fixed etc and so on and so forth. Salford Trotter Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I am banking on Clinton hammering the final nail in Trumps presidential coffin tonight and as such we should avoid a 3rd world war Quote

"the russian's did it" doesn't seem to be working What that proves is there at least a few people who have said something incriminating on camera. A few people who claim that they are willing to bend the rules to win votes. And they should be made to account for what they are saying in these videos. To be honest I'd be more surprised if people like this didn't exist - and on both sides of the political spectrum. What it doesn't say is that the whole system is rigged. You'd need to be buying millions of cars at auctions. Quote
kent_white Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Not long to go now. And Clinton with a one point lead - and another strangely timed data release from the FBI regarding Bill back in 2005. I don't know a huge amount about American politics - and I know there's a huge amount of vitriol about the Clinton's - some of it no doubt warranted and a lot not. But the timing of these releases seems engineered to cause maximum damage to her campaign to me. American politics just gets stranger and stranger. Quote

bolton va va Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 The FBI would have been damned if they hadn't investigated any new evidence of the Clintons' dodgy behaviour. The Clintons/democrats are now trying to divert attention & limit the damage by throwing as much mud as possible at the FBI........if she did get elected, it's hard to see how she could have a working relationship with the FBI now. MalcolmW Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Trump on the stump today, and he was saying the right sort of things. (Of course, it may have been a lookalike.) Quote

That first one with Hillary fair enough - but this one to do with Bill, surely a week before the election is the wrong time? Quote

birch-chorley Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 What's wrong with her? I don't get all the anymosity She's got to be better than Trump The Americans can pick some nut jobs, George Bush was another. I'd have had crooked Hillary over him as well It's a shame Obama couldn't do another term, I think he has been spot on Quote

Come on, let's not pretend that Donald Trump is honest For what its worth, I think they're both dicks. If these are the best two candidates that the US can come up with, then they're fucked Quote
stevieb Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Honestly mounts.... Do you seriously want trump as the most powerful man on the planet? Saw a documentary recently that showed this to be bollocks. Trump won't get owt past congress. Certainly not a wall to keep the sombrero wearing tequila swilling Borgetti loving dagos out. A quote from Obama I've found on tinterweb: “I am president, I am not king. I can't do these things just by myself. … I can't just make the laws up by myself.” Quote
Cheese Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 It's pretty clear that Putin is the most powerful person on the planet at the moment. Trump is Putin's Queen, and his supporters are Pawns. (I'm being facetious) Quote
Spider Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 It's pretty clear that Putin is the most powerful person on the planet at the moment. Trump is Putin's Queen, and his supporters are Pawns. (I'm being facetious) Babybel is correct. Putin must look west and piss himself every morning. Europe's a mess, the yanks are about to nominate the worst president in 40 years and meanwhile he's repositioning his entire army to vague and very empty threats from NATO. He's going to take the number 1 spot without kicking a ball, so to speak. Quote
gonzo Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Russian bomb a load of schools and hospitals in Syria. Every fucker legs it to Western Europe. Europe shits it's pants and everyone starts falling out. Europe disbands and takes NATO down with it leaving a host of sitting ducks for Russia. What a fucking masterplan. I predict we will be driving 1983 ladas and queuing for bread within the next ten years. At least the women are tasty. Quote
bgoefc Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Donald ahead in the polls by one point this morning. Quote
