DaveTheRave Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Henrik pederson The definition of utility player Did Henrik ever play right back. Striker, left wing then left back is how I remember him. Quote
ChippyTea Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Remember Jimmy Phillips playing there in the 97-98 season and Mark Fish wouldn't pass to him Quote
stevieb Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Did Henrik ever play right back. Striker, left wing then left back is how I remember him. I had him down everywhere, pretty sure he served me a pint in the ESLSC once. Quote
Walkden26 Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Neil Cox was quite good iirc? Other than that it has to be Gudni in that 96/97 team. Quote
jules_darby Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Neil Cox was quite good iirc? Other than that it has to be Gudni in that 96/97 team.Cox was average at best Not fit to lace Gudni's boots Quote
gonzo Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Remember Jimmy Phillips playing there in the 97-98 season and Mark Fish wouldn't pass to him Jimmy Phillips played right back at sheff weds against a Paulo Di canio and petr Rudi combo. It was like two cats playing with a mouse. His legs are still tangled up like a bowl of spaghetti now. Quote
gonzo Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Also If Gudni starts at wembley in 95 we win the league cup. Those dicks that think life started with ED should remember this. Quote
Eavesy Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Teams don't finish top 8 constantly with a shite right back. Other teams target them and exploit them. Hunt for me. Shame shoulder injuries finished him Quote
Casino Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 ian mulleneux (can't spell) He didn't have a left foot let alone a right Quote
RoadRunnerFan Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 None of this years six (yes, count them) in contention then? Danny Butterfield? Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Brian Borrows was good Gundi was better .Ritson steady . Scott / Whitworth /Green /Cooper all shite. Brown average. Steinson pretty good when sober Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Sorry forgot chopper he was at the very end of his career when I started going so hard to judge . Quote
H Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Got to be Roy Hartle for me. Bolton connection but didn't play for us - Jimmy Armfield Quote
Nowack Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Neil Cox was quite good iirc? Other than that it has to be Gudni in that 96/97 team. Championship Manager, Cox and Elliot were our best players. That was all make believe though and I cannot think of a good Bolton full back in my time. Saying that other than Maldini and Cafu I'm struggling to think of a full back that excited me full stop. Quote
Casino Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Brian Borrows was good Gundi was better .Ritson steady . Scott / Whitworth /Green /Cooper all shite. Brown average. Steinson pretty good when sober was only a kid but ritson and waldron - pre injury - were great Quote
