Hopefully he fucks off the likes of Madine and Mavies and plays some kids. I assume every player in the first team squad gets paid more when they play so anyone who has such a clause and is not going to be here next year should just not play. I was in the camp of not playing anyone who won't be here next season until the Bristol game. He needs to keep some confidence going if possible and Holding for example needs someone experienced next to him so it's got to be Wheater. One exception I would make is Mark Davies who has been given more than enough chances by the Club and fans. He needs to look at an example who is very close to him now in Peter Reid. Probably not the most gifted footballer in the world but made up for it with sheer determination. Came back from a couple of bad injuries and played for England - enough said. Saw Madine in pre season a couple of times and thought he would be just what we needed. How wrong I was. Maybe with a bit of confidence in a league lower next season can show that again. Quote
